I've always been an F-Zero racer style gamer and at the same time avoided Wipeout as it looked to be a pretender to the throne.

But, if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with right?

Wipeout HD is actually pretty damn good though. Anyone playing this online? It beats the piss out of MarioKart for sure...

I downloaded the game, its pretty sweet. It's the first wipeout game I've ever played. I too am a big fan of the F-zero series but the Big N has seemed to forget about the series, so I'm turning to wipeout for the time being. Fun stuff. Like the fact you have weapons on wipeout, miss the boost button though.

Game looks absolutely gorgeous though running 1080p at 60fps!
