(You might remeber that Shockwave is looking through his personal stuff in his tower remebering times of the past.)

We lived in peace for many eons and all went well. I was always studying science and experimenting with new technologies. I and the Constructicons were honored a lot, but I didn't care much. I was at peace. Alas most of the others got their own ideas and opinions were created.

Factions were formed; Most robots who originally were created for the commercial line called themselves Autobots. Most of them had the ability to transform into rolling ground vehicles. Their elders, who were of a product line even younger than me created the first counsil. The others didn't care much. They didn't even gave themselves a name. They didn't want a war since they still remembered the horrors of the Quintesson war. And most of the time both factions got to an agreement.

But my Constructicons got tired. Over the years many Autobots turned themselves into building machines so they could create their own creations. And more often the Constructicons creations were found useless or even to ugly to be built. Even the others were not amused. But the Constructicons knew the needed to get militairy forces in order to take power. The first Constructicon attempt to take control failed since none of the others was able to gain any trust. Not by speach and not by power. I knew they've could become a serious threat to the peace. The Constructicons went underground and I send my best commando to hunt them down.

Tron became a true hero during the desicive battle against Unicron. And after the war was over we became best friends.
He always believed me to be his superior and he was always loyal to me. Without hesitation he grabbed his weapons and took off. But I never saw him again.

Over the years I kept wondering where he was. I send more of my old soldiers to search for him, and even they didn't return. Meanwhile robots started talking about mysterious unidentified flying objects entering Cybertronian airspace at night. And more of the other faction dissapeared. After a few cycles I was amongst a few who were the only ones left.

I went to the Autobot counsil to ask for protection, but when I got there they were attacked. The ceiling collapsed and I saw three robots appearing from the smoke. They introduced themselves as the leaders of the Seeker squadrons. I had never seen them before, but that didn't matter. I was certain my life was at risk. I had to defend myself. But since it was a long time ago I fought the my last battle, they were no match for me. I got hit by clusterbombs and a nullray. One of them teleported behind me and smashed my optical sensor. Then I lost consciousness.

Why did VS turned the commercial line into peaceloving robots who called themselves Autobots?
Shockwave knew he needed logic to built an incredible world of peace, and he felt it was appropriate to use the commercial lines to do that.

Yes, the AQ managed to control VS and gave that control to Shockwave.

Why don't you just call the others, Decepticons?
I call my caracters what they are in that time. They weren't Decepticons. (Like ancient romans aren't Italians.)

Tron still was a good soldier and Shockwave wasn't? That's easy. Tron devoted his live to be a wrestle like champion and didn't loose all of his fighting skills.
Shockwave devoted his live to science and kept on studying.

Flying robots? The Constructicons, like Shockwave, also made new technologies and created the ability for some others to Transform into aircrafts.

Tron? Seekers? Most might already have guessed....but it comes to light in the next chapter.
