I'm finally getting around to making my Alt Prowl and Bluestreak to go next to my unaltered Alt Smokescreen. Heres the thing, I want them to all look different, but all look related. They were the fairlady brothers. So Prowl doesn't have a tailfin, he's going to have a pushbar, a light bar, a spotlight, and be made mostly of ricochet parts (exept for smokescreen legs and sholders so they're flat).

Now comes the hard part, the head. On the one hand, I absolutely love the head they put on Silverstreak/Ricochet. I've already started altering it by carving/graving into the center of the crest and adding a couple line detailes on the points. I am going to be carving/graving details into the sides of the helmut by the cheeks aswell. If it still looks like Bluestreaks though, maybe I should chop off the side vents and add smaller ear covers (even though I LOVE those side vents)


Then I had a completely different idea, use the decepticharger head/repro. Heres a digibash of it with the crest from the hasbro prowl release, and ear shapes/mohawk added. It looks cool, but is it prowl? Is it related enough to the other two? Do I need to thicken the nose a little so its closer to the brothers? Or should it be my bluestreak head and keep the ricochet head for prowl?

I think that type of head (Decepticharge) might be a good idea. If you're really trying to 'relate' them, then I'd square off the top of the head around the mohwawk just a little bit. But if you didn't, it'd still look fine I think.

thanks, but no. The tracks head is just too flat for it to fit in with the other two. It does look nice for Rachet though.

I put an actual Prowl head on my Subaru Prowl. Now they all look related, but have different heads.

I think you are trying too hard.

I hate the hasbro prowl head sculpt. I think its the fact that its the one of the three brothers that the face is on the same mold piece as the cheek flaps and such. Maybe its the fact that the vertical cheek lines don't curve in toward the chin. Maybe its because the crest IS a seperate piece and sticks out way further than I would like compaired to the rest of the mohawk. I don't know, but I'm probubly won't ever use that one, or maybe one day as an Ironhide, since he should have a wider jaw line anyways.
