Greetings!

I'm feeling ambitious with a project, and its my hopes that by posting this I can maintian motivation to follow through.This is rathe r abig jump for me, but I'm hoping to roll experience painting model trains into painting parts of a transformer. We'll see.

The Goal


Although I'll be deviating from my original mockup, that's my plan. Overlord started speaking to me after I got caught up on Last Stand of the Wreckers. The Energon Supreme figure captures all the base elements of Overlord, vehicle modes aside. He's the right rough scale against Uni Kup, Guzzle, and Movie Pyro. (Voy Sentinel prime, another repaint I'd like to get myself to sit down and do) A Battleship is not a *far* cry frm a tank, and although a wrecker claw is not what immediately comes to mind for Overlord, most of Overlord's appeal for me comes from his robot mode, which its fine for.

Modifications
Very minor, owing to lack of experience. I'd rteally like to discard of the Energon Prime Magic Mushroom ports, but I'm not going to say for sure if those go until I get him dissassembled.

The Headmaster Giga will be losing the glass front faceplate, as its a separate piece form his backpack.

I'm planning to remove as many ratchet joints as I can.

I'd like to glue gunbarrels to the underside of the crane train's electirc pantograpghs and make turrets out of it.

I'd like to build a modification to Overlord's knee to allow the crane train to uncouple, without hindering his ability to walk.

On the back Burner
Were I more skille,d I would LOVE to merge ROTF Jetfire with Overlord's crane unit. Unfortunately, I don't feel confidwent enough in myself, and mainatianing a working right half is escaping my mind. Open to suggestions.

Anyway, on to Disassembly!

I think the battleship could be the jet and the train could be the tank,instead of what you are doing(Just my opinion though),you would have to add tanks elements for the tank part and jet elements for the jet part.
