Hey, I had a poetry project for English class a few months ago, and I decided to write something Transformers-themed. (I know, my teacher's awesome.) But it made me wonder if anyone else here does TF poetry. I'll share mine if you want to read it.

4,000,000 Years on Earth: A Cybertronian Ballad

The Sonic Canyons are alive (471.893 decibels)
But I am dead inside
We transformed
Together
We are no longer
Together
You’re off in a spaceship (an Ark-class exploration cruiser)
And I’m here (on Cybertron)

We were young (19.3 Cybertronian stellar cycles)
We were fast (317 miles per hour)
We raced
Together

Fresh out of programming
We were engineers
I for a processor factory
You for a starracing team
You taught me things about speed
I will never forget

You went away
To wage someone else’s battle
To destroy
The evil forces (of the Decepticons)
For someone else
(For 4,000,000 years)
(On Earth)

My skills in engineering
Transferred well enough
Into weapons
As yours would
Into military-grade fighters
As Beachcomber’s (metallurgic skills) would
Into crafting indestructible armor
For the next week or so

I found out which shipment would be sent to Earth
To Optimus Prime’s crew
To you
And I wrote a message
To you

The next day
It was all over the news
About what happened
On Earth
The Ark had crashed
On Earth

We transformed (into Blaisar G20 Sonic Speeders)
Together
We are transformed (into other robots)
When not
Together
I was young
I was red
Now I’m black
And teal

I spent my days
In protests
On political datalogs
At rallies
And not the monster truck kind
Although there were monsterbots there

Protesting the war
Datalogging my thoughts
On Optimus Prime
(Our intrepid, benevolent leader
For whom I have nothing but deference and veneration)
On the war
On Decepticons
On Earth

But now I hear them say
That there are some survivors
On Earth
That Optimus Prime
(And Prowl, and Jazz, and many others)
Will continue to fight

I hope to see you again
On the news
And in real life

I don’t support this war
But if you want to keep fighting,
Keep fighting.

But seriously, be careful.

Ha! Interesting piece, although not sure about all the repetition and parentheses.
Have you already submitted this for the project?

I have a couple of my own (by a couple, I mean two) that always go down well when I perform.
I prefer a more subtle approach, using TFs as signifiers rather than Transformers poetry, I guess.
