Who would win in a duel between these two? Barricade (first movie) or Sideswipe (ROTF)?

Sideswipe, if he can hold onto his blades. Witrhout them, all he can do is run away. Barricade is stronger.

did you watch the second movie he does have guns and how would he lose his swords their part of him. plus he is a lot more
agile then barricade

No, I never saw RoTF :roll:

They're detachable. He cut Sideways in half because he was able to reattach his sword to his arm. Otherwise Sideways would have just driven away with Sideswipe's sword in him. As for his guns, most of the guns in the movies were basic machine guns like Sideswipe's, and they were worthless.

And also a lot skinnier. If Barricade got a hold of him in hand-to-hand combat, Sideswipe is dead. Unless he can work some magic with his swords.

To me this comes down to an unasked question: who's better, Bumblebee or Sideswipe. We saw Bumblebee more or less (and it pains me to say it) *stomp* Barricade in 07. If Sideswipe is supposed to be badassier (more badass?) than Bumblebee, then definitely Sideswipe. If less, I'd like to keep hope alive for my boy. Simple because I like Saleens.

Sideswipe.

barricade seems like a brawler to me. where as sideswipe has skill speed and agility on his side.

It seems to me that Sideswipe needs smooth roads to function at optimum levels. Barricade can foil him by tripping him up. I think that Barricade is most likely to win this, unless Sideswipe can glide by in the perfect line to slice Barricade.
