Dam good. You're able to make individual fingers in such a small scale robot. Amazing. How come a big company like Hasbro can't have the technical ability to do that?

How'd you do the fingers? Can we have a really really close up pic of the hand? :)

I still can't believe people are actually doing scratch built work like this. It is more than impressive. You should be proud.

Absolutely gorgeous.

And Auto Bot, as ever, I imagine the main reason Hasbro don't do articulated hands on normal figures is money. It'd require casting many more, much smaller parts, which would also put assembly costs up. True, such a fig would kick arse at retail, but I think it'd be a collector's piece (like a Masterpiece) rather than one of the standard toys.

Those fingers, how did you join them all together and still keep them articulated?

With this method of transformation, Bumblebee should stand taller than most of the Autobots. Including Ironhide.

If a beetle is, say, 12 feet long. This Bumblebee stands more than 25 feet! Quite close to G1 Prime's height of 30 feet!

All that from a small bug!

I'd really like to see a comparison shot with other TFs to see scale. I know there were a few shots with Starscream posted but I don't have that one so it doesn't help :(

Is it possible to make the windows transparent? Or at least retain the original translucence of the styrene?

Is he going to have a visor/battle mask of some sort? It looks like he has a faceplate based, on your recent pics.

Looks awesome by the way! Very impressive still!

What are the wheels made of? All four of them are in perfect mold, perfect shape!

Where did 2 of the wheels go in robot mode?

Thanks for the kind words, now some answers... the windows are not going to be translucent... :-? the wheels are stored inside the ^feets^, and the visor is an ad-on, the face remains behind it.

Cheers

Hi. You said the hands and arms and fingers are made out of polystyrene, how comes you didnt just use normal styrene? Is there some advantages to using the materials that you used for this?

I ask as i would like to know as i have a very special project lined up (not related to your great work, but its the same character) and it requires a lot of scratch building. By the looks of it you are a master of it so i figured id ask you first.

Thanks, and try to post more often will ya? :P

What's the difference between styrene and polystyrene? I thought they were the same material.

I don't mean to be mean but his limbs look like they're made of scotch tape! I kno it's a WIP so sorry if I offended you. But I'm wondering...EVERYTHING is scratch built?
