Note: Terminology may sound stupid to those unfamilar with the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Alright, I had the idea for this guy ages ago, even ordering the parts, but I never got round to actually putting him together until yesterday, when I was inspired by all the new Ork models. So, here he is, Klockwurk Manikmek. Never was quite the same after one of the Painboyz used a squig brain to replace a missing chunk of his after a fight.

Base model is a standard metal Nob. For quite a while he was going to have a set of mechadendrites from one of the Inquisitor models for a "Doctor Orktopus" style appearance, but I changed my mind at the last minute (so the assembled pieces remain in my bag of ork conversion pieces). I'm also tempted to build a warbike version once the new plastics come out. The greenstuffing isn't amazing as I don't have much patience for it so did the sculpting as quickly as I could.

That's a tasty bit of modelling there. I love the klaw - that's made up of Dark Eldar vehicle bitz, isn't it?

Do we get to see the painted version when it's done?
