:P

The world wide web is NOT the internet.

I cant remember the distinction now (it's been 2 or 3 years since I came acroos the subject at uni) but there is a distinction between the two. The internet was a US military atempt to create a comunications network that would survive a nuclear blast (ie by making it not rely on one central hub).

Right, after a quick refresher from wiki, I think I remeber the diference.

The internet really refers to the headware and rules that allow it all happen, all the smaller networks, that comunicate to each other using Internet Protocols (IP), thats the internet.

The World Wide Web on the otherhand can best be discribed as the user interface. All the websites and information and what not, that is the World Wide Web.

There ye go. Hope that helps.

This'll probably help more, but only if you're already reasonably well versed in computer terminology.

Ditto...what i hate about the weather though is its constant inability to make up its freaking mind!

One minute it can be thundering and pissing down with rain, and then 5 minutes later the sun will be shining and it'll be hot again!

Then theres the times where it wants to rain but just never will, instead we get crappy drizzle and grey clouds. It makes me wanna shout up at the sky and say "MAKE UP YOUR F**KING MIND ALREADY!"

I also would like to add Big Brother to my list. ;)

My postie is useless. He fold every little thing before shoving it through. Even the stuff a three year old could get through without folding. Once I was expecting a delivery from Amazon and the dozy twit rang the doorbell and started walking away without waiting. He was half way down the drive before I got the door open and shouted after him.

Congrats on your trainbot win Redimus.

I'm gonna have to check Wilkinsons next time I'm through Newcastle. Wouldn't mind getting a cl Ramjet for that price. Or a tit Magnus.

Wait a minute. I swore Encore Soundwave was the last. Unless the Prime/bb 2 pack appears in Argos. Unless I find a G1 ravage and blue robot cassette. KO is acceptable. Why can't I stop? It's like a disease. Help me!!!

Big Brother needs to die. I want to add the X factor, strictly come dancing and every other reality tv show to the list of crappness.

Tell you what though i hear you about the refuse collection, absolutely disgusting service what the hell has happened with that!!!

No the internet was entirly an American invention.

And for the record... Im half french.

ooo la la! :P

Im not proud of it....

In fact, Im the only one on this thread to be truly qualified enough to know just how bad the french are! :P

Ive always felt that France was a beautiful place with an ugly people. I also feel that most of the really stupid ones come from Paris.

It is a nice country. I have had many an enjoyable holiday there. But when they get started, they really are just a bunch of snot nosed punks.

But I don't have the money. Or the space.

Still, I will always think 'Just one more. It can't hurt. I like the look of it, and the price is fair. Go on.'

I say I'm stopping, but I never will. Ah screw it. Next time I pass Wilkinsons, I'm adding tit Magnus, Cl Astrotrain (so I can have one with foldable wings) and cl Ramjet. I have spoken. [-(

I was doing fine, I could have waited until after Mini-collider was born and I'd have every excuse to buy lots of "toys" but now Wilko's have Grimlock for £8.00 ME WANT!
Damn You Wilko's! You don't even have ANY TF's in Leeds (as far as I've seen).

Good luck on finding Astrotrain. He's short packed in this assortment and somebody had beaten me to the blighter in 'Boro. At least I've got my oversized KO to tide me over until I can find the real deal (or resort to ebay).

That's cos you need to order a case in matey. I doubt they'll ever have em just in stock by chance.

I always said this forum's impossible to find.

You need to go in, order a case, say what ones you want them to hold for you, and then go back when they're in.

Easy as pie. Shame gettin the funds for em ain't as easy

Oh well. Maybe the Auto-wah on me new amp will keep me amused until my ship finally comes in :-?

I already have one Astrotrain, so I aint too fussed about him. But Ramjet and Magnus are easy enough to find? Even though it will probably be the end of September when I go past one without making a special trip. Unless I go when the Prime spotlight comes out. :-?

I got a funny feeling that Wilkos won't be stocking these for very long...

Get playing those 70's Cop Show Themes!

Bit of a Warning Everyone - I got the shrunken Poundland KO RM Mirage with RM Air Hunter. It arrived this morning and the arms have already come of Mirage due to bad pinning on the shoulders. The good news is I suspect I'll be able to fix with a tiny nut & bolt as it looks easy enough. Anyway this was going to be for Mini-collider but he'll definately end up tearing it apart the first time he touches it. not worth returning as it looks like a factory issue.

RM Air Hunter is a bit cheap & tatty with too much flashing but it's solid enough and with a little tidying and repainting you wouldn't wouldn't know it was KO.

The Master Blaster wrote:You need to go in, order a case, say what ones you want them to hold for you, and then go back when they're in.

See that's making it just enough hassle to just put me off it, ME NOT NEED. I might just manage to get over it, wait and get the justitoys Dinorobots versions instead.

Arrr, I guess I shoulda told ye all when I bought it a while a go. The shoulders are really poor on the KO RM Mirage. Mine snapped off while I transformed it. DON'T TRY AND GLUE ANYTHING! Mine broke half way through the shoulder, and when I tried to glue it back together, the plastic quite literally melted away. Now it's a bluey-black stub :?

I love the RM Air Hunter. Till me brother snapped off the prongs on the gun arm :? . I used to have this one when I were a wee one, and I loved it to bitsies. It were camo white with blue joints.

No-Worries I'll be able to fix mine, it's just gonna be a case of how long it's gonna take and how much prating about in craft-stores or B&Q.

If' you wanna post a picture of yours I might be able be able to suggest a fix.

The Titaniums should be 2 each of Magnus and Megatron to a case and assuming that this is the exact same case breakdown as the Wave 3 Classics in the States I believe that there should be two or three Ramjets to a case. Astrotrain and Grimlock (1 of each per case) are going to be the problem figures to track down. In the US they'd both been in previous assortments but we got stiffed on Astrotrain in Wave 1 and never saw Wave 2. These figures are from memory, so I may be a figure off somewhere, but that's about the size of it.
