This question actually goes back to the 2007 movie. I was just wondering, was it ever cleared up in the comics or any other accompanying material why Frenzy was with Barricade? I mean, Soundwave had Ravage in RoTF, and I know there was no Soundwave in the first movie, but was Frenzy loaned to Barricade, or was that just the way the movieverse story was written?

Just know that Barricade had Frenzy and Soundwave had Ravage. Besides the trilogy isn't even done yet, maybe Barricade will be in DOTM and Soundwave tells him that he is mad because he allowed Frenzy to die or some crap like that.

My theory is that Frenzy was really no one's minion and he worked with Barricade because it suited the Decepticons' mission goals at the time. He was just a short Decepticon.

He seemed way to psychotic to be anyone's loyal minion.

And I do agree about Frenzy being a psycho, but still, he was Soundwave's starting out so I thought maybe that's something they ignored or explained...

maybe he's just Barricades partner! Why does he have to be a minion. just cause he's short?!

I've actuslly never thought about the Relation ship between Frenzy & Barricade that much. Or Soundwave for that matter. Good job for thinking!

Blackout got Scorponok. Barricade got Frenzy. Soundwave got Ravage. Ravage got Hairballbot.

Decepticons just like having pets.

Really, I think they are simply partnered together. Cops in movies always got a partner / sidekick, remember? Frenzy can't do much if he's just sitting in Starscream's cockpit anyway.
