Starscream? How the hell...

Is that sarcasm? You're writing like you don't believe Transformers exist!

Hehehe, the reason why you see flames as SS leave earth is because he is no ordinary F-22. He's an alien life form with super-hyper drive that can take him into extreme speeds in almost an instant. The faster the speed, the more the resistance. The more resistance, the more the heat.
What does SS say? Who knows? Some say it has the word "Bumblebee" in the end. I think that is the case, and he isn't happy. He's probably saying "F U (in Cybertronian) Bumblebee".
Either way, he's a racing to get some more evil friends to kick some Autobot butt.

Why would he have beef with bumblebee, apart from bb being an autobot he didnt actually do anything to starscream to personally piss him off.
I think he is saying "im ready" but im only 30% sure on this. The remianing 70% is uncertainty.

I like how people still cant accept the bots getting killed by humans. Why? Why is it so hard to beleive?
Look at it this way: Humans are highly advanced beings over...say...a poisonous snake but if we get bitten by one we can die. Just like we are super advanced beings over deadly bacteria, yet they can kill us too. In theory we are basically deadly bacteria to the transformers. They may be bigger and stronger and more advanced but like the snake and bacteria we can still kill them.

It still doesn't even sound like Starscream is speaking english to me... I keep listening to it and it sounds like cybertron gibberish to me.
I haven't been able to buy the movie yet but couldn't someone with the movie just turn subtitles on?

Seems like the easiest way to settle at least that part of the debate.
Now the whole flying into space, giant robots, science fact vs science fiction... I'll leave that alone.

not sure if this was already discussed but after the credits when SS blasts off into orbit, it's almost of if it sounds like he says something. It sounds like he said "follow me", as in for any surviving decepts. Anyone else notice this?

You misunderstood what I said, I just put that as an example of science fiction. It's reality, it doesn't have to be real or close to it. Just science fiction, anything it's possible in science fiction. That's what people like you don't understand.

People like me? You mean people who can actually realize its just a movie about robots based on toys and accept it for that instead of trying to pick it all a part and try to give every little thing inside the movie a realistic scientific reason?
I can understand science fiction perfectly my friend, IM the one who gets annoyed by people trying to make it realistic and waste their time trying to explain everything in intricate detail when the details were never there in the first place.
"people like you" HA! Thats rich, especially aimed at me.

What I saw seems to be the raptor transforming into an Ark-like ship. Very much like the Autobot Ark.
That's how I saw it.

It's hard to make out. The first part is definatly in Cybertronian, but it's hard to make out if he said Bumblebee or Follow me, both of which sound similar.

I didn't noticed that, but I won't be surprised if he said that. Brings more imagination for the sequel.

I'm not 100% on this, I've only seen it four times, and living in England wont get the DVD till December (Grumble, winge, moan).
But the way I remember it, he transforms into craft that looks very similar to an F-15. At least in the nose/wings area. I always thought it was a G1 nod, but no one else has mentioned it so I could be wrong...
It really looked that way at the IMAX.

Its quite obvious that he is transforming himself back into his protoform or cybertronian form. Since he is leaving earth he has no need to disguise himself as an f-22 anymore. So he is simply transforming into either A: His cybertronian/protoform mode or B: into a form more suited to intersteller travel until he reaches cybertron and then he will transform back into his default cybertronian form.
I bet that in TF2 he will come back and take the form of some other type of fighter jet since his cover has been blown in TF1 (Ironhide spotted him for one, not to mention that the military will be super cautious of all of their F-22 squads now)

I think he un-scan his F22 form and retake his Entry Mode, AKA Protoform. Simple like that. You can see he transform as he leave earth.

What? He just abandoned the earth's atmosphere and was surrounded by flames while doing so. You know the type of 'cometfire tail' that tends to surround objects moving through the atmosphere at extreme speed? He didn't transform anything.
There was nothing in the vicinity to scan. Yes, he could format back into a previous form i.g. Cybertronian, spacetravel 'Protoform' or even an older jet before he scanned the F22. I don't see him transforming into any different shape and frankly there'd be no reason for him at that moment. He might be on the run but he already reached outer space. No earthbound Autobot was going to catch him there.

i just Fw and Rw like ten times, and it looks like he just stays a F22. All i see is heat from the friction of leaving the Atmosphere, the engines do sound like other worldy engines.
i hear what sounds like part of the Decep signal. I cant make anything out however.
