i dont know if what i heard was correct or not, but in the trailer when everyone is running in the street you can hear someone say either "its alive!" or "its a lion!" just a thought. but it seriously sounds like he's saying "its a lion!" so im guessing we're gonna see a lion looking monster. then again i could have bad hearing so it may or may not be true.

I just saw the teaser poster for this film, (see it here) and I think it's one of the best teasers I've ever seen (it's on par with the Star Wars episode I teaser poster). It's just great art direction. And it doesn't even have the name of the movie anywhere, the whole film campaign is the best tease in itself.

I still think this film will be a "Blair Witch Project" for monster movies. Hand-held camera throughout, concentrating only on the personal side of things, perhaps a subtle war on terror/9-11 type experience, showcasing what people do under extreme stress and fear, only using a monster instead.

Pretty cool! Although, just because that scene is filmed on the last day in no way means it's the last scene of the film. More often than not, the last scene filmed isn't the ending.

That's one thing I gotta hand to those in the film industry - they can take a story and break it up into pieces and film it all out of order, and still give us a great continuous story to follow (most of the time). Hail the editors!
