Has anyone else ever noticed that the Constructicons seem to exsist in every continuity in some form or another?

G1/BW/BM of course was the first continuity to include them.

RID had the Autobot Build Team who technically were never Constructicons but they were a combineing team of Construction vehicles and their toys were repainted as Constructicons.

A/E/C or The Unicron Trilligy used the names of the individual Constructions like Scavenger and then renamed all the actual members of the Constructicons. Sadly their combined form was not called Devistator.

Movie had Boncrusher in it and the upcomming sequill has the Constructicons in it most of whome apperently do NOT have their G1 names especially sence Optimus decapitated one of the original names sakes.

Animated has two guys who are called Constructicons but as far as we know they don't combine and they're probally the only individual Constructicons to actully share their names with original members.

I decided to take all the combineing construction teams and rename them with G1 names. (easier for some than others.) and this is what I came up with. I put an * next to some of them, see the notes at the bottom for why.

RID

Wedge = Bonecrusher

Grimlock = Scavenger

Heavy Load = Long Haul

Hightower = Hook

Unicron Trilligy

Steamhammer = Scavenger

Boncrusher = Bonecrusher

Duststorm = Hook*

Sledge = Scrapper

Wideload = Long Haul*

Movie

Demolishor = Scavenger*

Rampage = Bonecrusher

Long Haul = Long Haul

Scrapper = Scrapper

Hightower = Hook

Mixmaster = Mixmaster

Animated

Mixmaster = Mixmaster

Scrapper = Scavenger*

Dirtboss = Scrapper*

*Unicron Trilligy, both the characters marked have the vehicle mode for "Hook" but one of them had a name simular to RID Heavy Load so I went with him for Long Haul and made the other Hook.

Movie, there's some rumor going around that there are 7 Constructicons that combine to form Devistator. Demolisher and Scavenger are suposidly 2 different characters but from what I can tell they're the same toy. Sence I can't find much info on them I may change that ruleing later on.

Animated, Yes Scrapper allready had a G1 name but his vehicle mode is more closely related to Scavenger as a back hoe. The Constructicons have never had a fork lift before so I just gave him Scrapper's name.

Oh and one finnal note, lets all congradulat Long Haul for no longer haveing to suffer the indignity of transforming into Devistator's ass.

That's because Constructions kick ass. With all due respect, Soundwave was wrong when he said "Constructicons inferior."
