Honestly, I don't think so. In the end, that is. But Optimus does mention 'lost faith...'

Sentinel Prime addresses the human race, and says that, on the condition that they send Optimus and co. packing, he and the Decepticons will leave Earth once they've gathered enough resources to rejuvinate Cybertron.

Since we know from the trailer that Prime and co. do in fact leave, that's pretty much a yes.
