one thing that bothered me, and maybe someone already touched on this, was when Ironhide made that comment about killing the parents/humans. The real Ironhide would never say anything like that. He might as well join the Decepticons with that thinking. Also, I wonder why they couldn't get the guy who did the cartoon Ironhide. The voice for Rachet sounded Vaguely familiar - more similar to Perceptor's voice though. I'll have to look him up.

This seriously bothered me as well. Not just because it is not an autobot thing, but because it sounds like the last thing Ironhide would ever say.

You almost get the impression that Peter Cullen felt the same way when he looks at him and says "YOU KNOW we don't harm humans! What are you thinking?"

I hit post by accident before I was done.

Ironhide's voice was very distinct. He had an almost "Texan/southerner" feel to his voice.

This guys voice was kind of bland.

I was trying to picture ironhides old voice with this one, didnt quite like that picture. A tonned down old ironhide voice would have worked, but this guy's was fine. Cartoons should have wacky voices. It only worked with Frenzy, because he has a whacky look, but even still he sounded to much like a Jawa on drugs.

They needed to get across that Ironhide was a harda$$ mofo and that he loves to fight, what better way to do that have him want to take out the kids parents. Every general audience member would get that.

hey 1st post in a few years.

I thought the movie was pretty good, except killing off Jazz just didn't sit right with me you know?

I thought somewhere probably a rumor that Jazz may be brought back in the sequal for one reason or another.

Joke Titles for sequals:

Transformers: The Search for Jazz

Transformers: The Wrath of Galvatron

Unicron may come in a sequal right or wrong?

but this goes against the moral code of the autobots -if you want to call it that.

Even if they didn't use Irohide's old voice. His voice just didn't seem to have anything that set it apart.

And Irohide was a bad a$$ without threatening to kill innocent people. (In fact, that doesn't really ear anyone bad a$$ points with me)

It sounded like something a decepticon would say.

Okay, before I go on about some issues with the movies, I just want to say I overall loved the movie. It's topped my list of favorite movies that's for sure. Okay, now some things that sort of took out of the movie. One of my big issues is that Bonecrusher died so fast. I got the impression from the trailer and the 30 sec clip that it was going to be a pretty big battle scene. Optimus's sword was awesome though. Another huge issue was with Starscream. I mean, he said 1 sentence. I understand that there was time limitations but I mean, if you didn't know him from TV, you would have no idea that he was such a back stabber. I loved the "you failed me yet again, Starcream" though. I think that overall, due to the time restraints, you weren't able to get a good feel of most of the robots, personalities. I mean, I didn't feel much when Jazz got ripped in half (other than the fan side of me. Just the movie watcher side) and you really didn't get many alone scenes with the Decepticons and so it really only showed 2 sides of the story (humans and Autobots) instead of 3 (humans, autobots, and decepticons) like it did in the series. I think the maybe I'm just used to the fact that there was a lot more time to expand on the robots in the TV show.
