Are they even big characters in the movie? We havnt seen anything of them in trailers or anything. We've seen a couple pictures of Ratchet in his alternate form (hummer). and we havnt even seen Brawl yet.

I discussed this at the shootfortheedit.com forums, but apparently nelson and whoever are keeping mum on Brawl. He's the only one we haven't seen a whif of besides toy pics, CG WiP, and filming pics.

Even Ratchet got some Lunchables coverage, but not Brawl. Brawl hasn't got anything lol...

Ratchet can be seen in the new trailer when Starscream flips up on the street, transforms into jet and flies away. You see Ratchet and Ironhide get blown away as seen in this pic.

P.S. it could be Bumblebee but it looks more Ratchety colored. :-?

Does that jet really have enough kick to knock around the two biggest Autobots besides Prime? (A huge pick up and a rescue hummer)

Just to get it straight, Brawl is the tank and Bonecrusher is the armored vehicle, correct?

Actually if you look Ratchet rolls backwards while Ironhide moves out of the way.

Looks like Starscream was aiming to try and fly into ratchet and transform or something.

yeah I was wondering the same thing about brawl. He looks like he'd have the a lot of potential for awesome scenes, but I heard zilch, not even when I read spoilers....

i dont think that is ratchet in that scene. that guy is small compared to ironhide, so that makes sense if it is bumblebee. and i think who ever that is, is just jumping out of the way so he doesnt get leveled by SS.

That jet definitely has enough kick to throw back those Autobots. I work on an air port, when jets are moving across the ramp you have to stay a certain distance away from the jet blast cause it'll toss a school bus around like it's a dorito bag in the wind. But of course those are 737's and they're moving considerably more weight than a fighter jet. Starscream's got magic alien space jet technology so I'm sure he's got more kick than an Earthly fighter jet.

yee, thats true i suppose. but then again, all the robots got like crazy skills, so he could probly dodge that.

Being featured in the trailer doesn't equate to being a big character.

We see Bonecrusher all the time in the trailer. Had this impression that he has this big showdown with Prime.

But it turns out Bonecrusher is just a small character, with only a few seconds screen time.

Ratchet and Brawl definitely were bigger characters. Not much for Brawl. But definitely for Ratchet.

Brawl was a character that was made to attend to the Autobots for a few minutes. Ratchet was for BB's voice and to make it look realistic because he's a medic and all and it's like a SWAT team. Bumblebee, Megatron and Optimus Prime were the main Transformers.
