I'm not a big fan of repaints or remolds so i only want one of them. Which one is better? Mirage or Hot Rodimus?

Hot Rodimus by a mile. Better paint apps, better detailing, better head sculpt, better accessories, better toy line, better packaging, better quality in every conceivable way.

Agreed. Mirage is nice, but Hot Rodimus just blows it clean off the map. If Mirage were ground beef then Hot Rodimus would be a porterhouse.

I'd wait for Alternators Rodimus on eBay or Hasbrotoyshop.com, if you're a Hot Rod fan. He's got a more G1 accurate paint job.

roddy. if you can get the kiss players version, do it. he comes with a fishing rod that turns into these smoke pipes on his arms, that little figure, and he has a visor thing.

I like Mirage ALOT better, cus, he's blue, and blue is s-e-x-y. :grin:

Plus, there's not a lot of Mirgae toys.

I was never a big Hot Rod fan and I never liked the name "Hot Rodimus", it sounds like that bad latin you see at the begining of the Road Runner cartoons.

Mirage is one of my favorite Alts. He looks really great and I have to say that dark blue with white racing stripes looks pretty hot.

Now if given the choice between Kiss Hot Rod or Alt, take the Kiss version. In my opinion the paint application looks better on the Kiss version even though he has the white racing stripes instead of the G1 flames. The pictures I've seen of the Alt show a much more dull finish to the paint job. Also, while many people could care less about the Kiss player, the fishing pole that turns into the exhaust pipes just really add a lot to the figure's character.

If we are comparing Alt to Alt, take Mirage. If we are talking about Alt Mirage to Kiss Hot Rod, Kiss Hot Rod is a lot harder to find, especially at a decent price. You could always get Mirage off of ebay later.
