Trade the hideous freak designs of Transtech for the elegant beautiful designs of RiD?

I think not.

You flat out can not support your statement that RiD had the worst toys ever. Don't give me that, "It's my opinion" crap either.

Support it, or admit that your opinion is weak.
ok prowl side burn and x-brawn........... i owned all of these and they broke in the first like 3 months..... plus the fact that 90% of their joints are ball joints and they popped out every 2 seconds transforming brings them down to KO level

What the hell are you doing with your toys?

I own all three of the Autobot Brothers and they are all fine (Except Prowl, whose door joint thing is almost broken.) and I didn't even really take care of them.

Hell I bought three versions of Prowl (Original, Target exclusive, and Universe Red Alert) because he was an awesome fig with an awesome alt mode.

The RID toys are hardly what I would call elegant, but they're definitely among the better toys that have been put out the last couple years. Trouble is, only half the molds in the line are anything new; the other half is just G1 Combaticon, G2 and BW repaints; still, as repaints go they weren't half bad, so the toys were the ONLY good thing about RID IMO.

My biggest problems with RID are: 1) it spawned all the crap dubbed-anime the TF brand has seen in the last six years, and 2) continuity-wise, it's on its own, getting only a nod or two in the collector club comics. Which is why I'd have taken Transtech in a heartbeat, toys and all, blockiness be damned.
I got yer new Captain America right here!

Yeah, but Sky Bite was awesome!!! Especially when Scourge showed up and basically took his place.

And is the matrix blade not the coolest weapon ever???

I enjoyed the show, for what I remember of it, and it spawned the RID Prime which happens to be one of my favorite TF molds ever (un-supermode).

As much as I like the... 6 New molds in RiD, I... would have prefered Transtech to come to fruitition, atleast it was a G1 continuation, not like the damned Reinvention crap we have had sence BM ended, looking back at it, I'd take BM over all Armada & Energon, except the toys.. maybe we wouldn't be so "I want Transtech" if AEC had be written well and in the case of Armada, had more decent toys.

Actually, since RID was being made in Japan while Hasbro were umming and aahing over whether to make Transtech I don't see why we couldn't have had both.

same reasons classics and alternators are on hiatus for the movie and toys.

and screw transtech. That other show that Raymond was talking about that was scrapped (the direct continuation of g1's rebirth) would have kicked way more ass than transtech.
