Good God, I don't know if this kind of validates the lack of supply out there (my post from 2 days ago), be it Hasbro's fault or the fault of the retailers, but has anyone seen the prices of a Deluxe figure on Amazon lately. Cheapest one I saw in my quick glance, Jazz, was 20 bucks and 2008 Bumblebee, $80. The scalpers are having a field day with the supply issues. I would expect this around Christmas time or for a few figures that are limited editions or convention exclusives but during the summer when the movie's in wide release-just nuts! I really feel for the completists right now.

If I were to walk into a store today and find more than one 08BB I'd be buying them and listing them up on eBay as soon as I got home. That may make me a bastard but I couldn't resist the extra cash.

I have to admit, I'd be torn to do it too. I wouldn't but the extra $ would be tempting. It's just so hard to believe with a wide release movie it's happening for general deluxe toys (and some of the voyagers and leaders too). Maybe this post is just me beating a dead horse from the other day.

Maybe I have questionable morals but I don't see much wrong with listing something for $0.99 and watching idiots bid it up to retarded prices.

Anyways, this might be beating a dead horse but there isn't much else to talk about at the moment.

Well i got an 08 bb yesterday, and i have to say if i saw 2 i would buy both, just cause kids have screwed me out of tf before. :-x

Like when i found energon magnus, i had to put him down for a sec to make room in my cart then some kid comes my way and says OH BOY ULTRA MAGNUS! and i yell HEY THATS MINE! and the kid just tells me too bad. So i was kinda pissed off considering i never saw it again. The only way i wouldn't buy 2 was if a nice little kid asked real nice or i didnt have more than 10.

True since I'm exhausted with the whole He's coming...

And I do agree, sometimes it is fun watching people go bid crazy for low cost items that should eventually be available everywhere.

That's it, I'm buying all the 2008 BBs the next time I see them somewhere. I'll give Seibs folks first dibs for a very small "finders fee".
