My (too) little collection

Postby rob_charb » Wed Aug 08, 2007 8:52 am

Well, as I'm pretty new here, I thought I'd share my fledgling collection with everyone. It's not very big, but it's a start!

First up, Movie line, starting with the 'Bots...I'm just missing '08 BB to complete the official 'Bot line-up.
Image

Next, Movie 'Cons. Still need Bonecrusher and Starscream to complete the official line-up.
Image

Next, Cybertron Primus, Metroplex and Defense Scattershot. I keep Primus in Cybertron mode because it saves space and, well, it's freakin' Cybertron!
Image

Here's the other half of my Cyberton collection; Vector Prime and a couple Legends.
Image

Next, my Classics with ProtoPrime, Cybertron Primal and 20th Annv Prime.
Image

Second last is Alternator Grimlock. My wife got him for my birthday this year and, while I love him to death, I just can't be bothered transforming into robot mode again any time soon.
Image

And finally, a TF that was a really pleasant surprise for me when I took it out of the packaging.
Image

Not pictured are my Cyb Cryo-Scourge, TiT Rodimus Prime and Jetfire and a KO Superion I got that I'm planning on fixing up and repainting one of these days.

Sorry if the pictures suck, my camera is going through one its doesn't-want-to-work-properly days.

Oh, and sorry for the size of the photos too. I'm a noob at Photobucket...

EDIT: Forgot to mention I didn't take any pics of Leader Prime or Real Gear Longview and Booster X10

No collection is too small. As long as you have an affinity with the ones that you selected and they have some meaning for you that is all that matters. Well done and keep it up! Good choices from what I have seen.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

Please don't call me sad but I've only got RID Prime, Armada Prime, Energon: prowl and 76 BB. Notwithstanding the fact that I did have side burn, Energon: Demolisher and Snowcat.

Thanks for the warm welcome all :)

Dead Metal, Scattershot is so worth picking up. I debated picking him up for a long time, but there was always something else to get instead. One day I just said screw it, I'm getting Scattershot today and picked him up...on sale too! Loved him the second I took him out of the box. Really good poseability and the gimmick in no way affects the toy.

Thundercracker91, I have Classic Optimus but he's tucked in the back behind Hot Rod so you probably can't see him. I missed out on Starscream and Megs because I didn't discover the Classic line until it was dying down. Now I can only get Starscream in a two pack with Hot Rod and, while I love Hot Rod, I don't really want a second one. As for Skywarp and Magnus, well, we don't have Wal-Mart in Taiwan so I couldn't get one.

And yeah, those damn Gundams are always trying to get me since I switched my loyalties...

I wouldn't call your collection small at all.

Besides, every collection starts off small, it is trying to find space for the ever expanding colleciton that is the hard part. :P

Welcome too Seibertron, and here is a tip for you:
If you dont want your wallet to scream in pain, stay away from the toy galleries.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.
