Whoa, the Takara Armada Megatron looks pretty amazing. I would jump on it but wonga is low ATM and I already have my old Armada Megatron.

Now if only a 3P would make him an upgrade kit that gave him forward hip movement, knees and (dare I say it) ankles...

And speaking of old news, I did want to write something about the exclusivity of these legends figures or at least what I make of it:

In the age of online sales, there is no “different group of people”. When you release a figure, you release it to the world. Every online retailer and their mother has them for sale. (Hence Takara Unite Defensor gift set)

I wish Amiami or HLJ had that Unite Warriors Guardian set but sadly they don't and that makes the set far more expensive than I was expecting. So while the figure my not be exclusive, the lower price on Takaratomymall is exclusive and to me it's pretty much the same. It's like saying SDCC toys are not exclusive to SDCC because they are also selling on e-bay at a premium. So looking at this personal definition of exclusivity, this new Legends Nemesis Prime is indeed exclusive at that particular price.

That's not the reason why. In the US "Nerf Megatron" still needed an orange tip on the barrel. It's just that gun laws are more lax in Japan than they are in the US.

Well, that's not an orange plug per se. It's just the original muzzle being orange in color. I mean, the colors are all over the place anyway, so it's probably a coincidence.

Truth be told, I don't think we even need to worry about orange plugs at all, because odds are, any non-MP Shockwave is likely to join CW Megs in becoming a tank or mobile artillery unit.

Well yeah, I remember now that the Hasbro version of Classics Megatron had an orange tip.

Well, it's not THAT bad; at least I don't think so. But yeah, it's high time for an MP Megatron 2.0. Sadly, international gun laws aren't making it easy for TT.

Thanks, but the RK's based in the US, which is a little too far for the shipping to be worth it. I'm eying HLJ, since I'm a regular customer there. Sadly, they only get their stock in August, and that's only for pre-orders.

Hobbysearch still has a few, and I'll keep my eye on those while looking for a cheaper brick-and-mortar alternative.
