Well I'm glad the site will survive in a new form. I'm looking forward to coming along for the ride. This is a great site & there will be more good times ahead for all involved I'm sure.

Let me say that I am sooooo proud to be a Transfan right now but more importantly a Human Being.

Thank you all for your kind words of support and even for those in meaningful opposition. I understand why you had your doubts about this transition and I am also happy to see alot of you comming around.

For those that will go your seperate ways because of your own reasons I want to say we will miss you and I hope that one day you will understand why the choices were made and that one day you find your way back to us no matter where we are or what we call home.

I also want to say that you are all Family to me. I'm not very close with my own and the family and friends that I have in "The REAL world" hold no candle, what-so-ever to those of you here. You are all the best and to quote my quote that you all have been quoting (Man that's a mouthful) "It's been a great ride" and I hope to continue it even if it is on a new coaster.

I have some exciting ideas (Wich I can't share...don't want to jinx it) as well as Ryan and I'm sure that we can make it enjoyable for all. Old and New.

I wish I could give you insight to more of me then I already have but to do that you would have to watch 5 movies back to back on my life just to get the short version of it but that if you saw it you would understand why you all really mean so much to me.

Maybe i'm a little more in touch with my emotions then your average man would feel comfortable with but I would like to think in this day and age alot of people are now more open minded and willing to except people for who and what they are. (No I'm not gay but that doesn't mean I can't connect with someone on a emotional level that is)

The great thing about the Internet is that people from around the world and all walks of life can exspress who they are, how they feel without being judged. Sure, you'll get your accasional Bung-hole that can't except that but the treasure that we find in people that do are worth going through a million of those Bung-holes just to find ONE of you.

Again. Thanks for all the support and please, share your ideas because Transtopia is more then just about me, it a about a place for you to have that same kind of freedom.

this may have been already covered,but there has been alot of computer jargon bouncing around that has made my head spin so i'll ask anyway.for existing members of tt,how will we be transferred to seibertron.com;do we just register there or will our info be transferred over

i believe thats its kinda a both thing... you can keep your TT name. and youll be able to just go to the new site when its over there.. and log in.. or if you already have a name over there. once the places merge your info will merge and youll just log in and all will be good..


so for now.. just keep your tt name unless you wanna go over there and make a new account....

I'll be figuring out a way to help you guys merge your accounts once I import the data. That won't be for a few weeks yet ...

Looked over Demiurgic City over there, and thats place need some new some work obviously. Hopefully you'll be keeping the gallery setup similar to what we have here.

I've submitted a wallpaper to it to see how it works, and didn't like it much, but hopefully someone will enjoy the wallpaper if they can find it.

Demuirgic City will be replaced by something entirely new that's far more user friendly than the code that I wrote for Demiurgic City 3.5 years ago.

I havn't posted in a few days. I was kind of hoping everything would turn out OK and TT would survive without S getting involved, but I was wrong. Damn.
Oh well I guess I'm along for the ride. I've checked out all the other bashing sites I could find, and they all suck compared to our beloved Transtopia.

No. If you really look families have grown enough in this day and age that people can be different in several kinds of opposites and still have a common appreciation.

It in no way means you have less value like being "The Black Sheep" would apply.

Update: I should be able to share the transitional website with you guys in the next 48 hours. There will be some inconsistencies with the data once I start pointing the domain name at the new server. There is little that I can do to prevent that unless I shut down the website for a week. The transitional website will look identical to this website and will retain 100% of the functionality that you see here.

Once Transtopia is running entirely on SEIBERTRON.com's servers, I would like to start working on the new functionality that will make your new home at SEIBERTRON more enjoyable, entertaining and useful. I'm very confident that all of you will truly like the new tools that I have planned for the Transtopia community.

Just letting you guys know the current status of everything ...

I have transferred the domain name tfmaster.com over to the registrar that I use for most of my domains. I have paid for the tfmaster.com domain through the year 2012.

The next step is for me to get the latest batch of data from the current site. Once I make sure that the database is up-to-date, I'll transfer the domain name to point to the copy of the website on my servers.

There is a possibility for some of you that there will be a 24 - 72 hour lag between the domain changing from the current server to the SEIBERTRON.com servers. Once that is complete, the site will be running entirely on my servers.

The next step is going to be a lengthy process that is potentially going to require about 60 - 75 hours worth of my time. I am NOT going home for Thanksgiving to visit my family so that I can have 4 days to dedicate to working on the all-new Transtopia codebase on SEIBERTRON.com that will REPLACE the current Demiurgic City. I am hoping to have the new Transtopia section completed before February 1st, 2007. It's going to be a lot of work, but I'm confident that I will be able to accomplish this fast paced goal.

I will keep you guys posted as aspects of this project continue to unfold. Thank you for your patience ... this is going to be very exciting!

I would just hold onto them for the time being. The "upload" process is going to completely change because users are going to be able to add their own galleries so that you guys don't have to do it. Basically there will be user galleries and then the more "official" Transtopia galleries which will be galleries that you guys have flagged accordingly (Though I haven't worked out the exact details with TFmaster yet).

i like the idea of having two types of galleries, i have a lot of customs i didnt want to submit as they arnt gallery worthy

Yeah, it also may help circumvent the potential problem of the 'official' galleries getting filled with countless repeats of the same customs.

I'm a little bummed because I love doing Thanksgiving with my family. It's easily one of my most favorite holidays. I still might head home for Thursday but I'm not 100% sure yet. I could always work locally on my laptop and just upload the code when I get back home (I have a WAMP setup on my laptop and my desktop ... Windows/Apache/MySql/PHP). I don't know ... with most of my friends going to their folks place for the holiday it would give me a great excuse to not get sidetracked with going to the bar or having other friends come hang out at my place. I'd be able to stay pretty focused on the task at hand over those 4 days.

I say go. It's Thanksgiving! What do you think holidays are for?

While I agree ... I live 3 - 4 hours away from my family. I'm starting a new job the Monday after Thanksgiving and my last day at the company where I'm currently employed is the day before Thanksgiving. My co-workers want to take me out on that night which is also the biggest bar night of the year (yes, bigger than New Year's Eve). I guess I really want to use that 4 day weekend to get ahead on stuff with SEIBERTRON.com before I start the next phase in my web programming career. Plus I'm hoping to get a new bed on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) courtesy of the crazy Black Friday store sales. I'll be home for Christmas which will be exactly 1 month from Thanksgiving.

Only 3-4 hours away? I?ve day-tripped that. If you leave Thursday morning at 8, you could be at your family?s by noon. If you spend the night and leave early Friday morning, you could be back home with plenty of time to do your shopping. That would leave you Saturday and Sunday to take care of your Web work.
