I was definitely satisfied with the ending to the movie. Optimus' speech left closure to the first movie while keeping the story open for a sequel. While I don't think the song playing was right for that scene (as people keep saying, the movie score would have been better), I thought the song actually fit the movie well.

I do wish Bumblebee would have popped his hood and sent Sam and Mikaela flying, though. Seriously, making out on top of a giant alien robot should seem just a LITTLE weird to them.

I thought it was funny that they were doing that while Ironhide, Ratchet and Prime were just right there doing... well, whatever they might have been doing in their vehicle mode.

It was a little odd, I'll admit.

Yeah, makin' out on your best friend is a little weird, and only in the movies could that happen.

...or Family Guy. (In which case, it was Lois's dad and not the first time. Plus it was more than making out.)

Still the movie was good, aside from that awkward moment. Plus I thought that song worked well.

The score, however, is nothing short of fantastic.

Actually, everytime I see that now, I imagine Bumblebee, Ironhide and Ratchet having a closed circuit conversation wondering what the hell those humans on his hood. I mean. Why WERE they all sitting around in alt form? Obviously their cover is a little blown to begin with with OP walking around having a monologue.

I thought the ending was good, didn't stand out too much; given the film started with Prime speaking it should end with that.
Plus I saw the film at midnight last Friday, cinema full of fans, there was applause
I wasn't sure about Sam's parents in the credits, but it was kinda funny. The bit I liked most actually was Starscream blasting away into space (I always remember the G1 episodes credits ending with Starscream rocketing away, very cool )
