Starscream and Skywarp standing together watched the slaughter begin, decepticons old and new fell before them. Starscream had acheived a new position as battlefield commander, he was not however, going to do as he had before with Megatron. Trypticon and Soundwave proved an even more deadly combination than the singular Megatron. Trypticon made it extrodinarialy crystal clear to Starscream shortly after he took command that he would kill him on the spot if he even thought of betraying him, and with the help of Soundwave"s ability to read minds he would know it the second it happened.
Starscream during the battle had taken over the position of battlefield commander when it became know after several failed aerial strikes that any air combat was certain suicide. Skywarp with his ability to warp himself from one location to another begrudingly became his runner.
Standing watching the decent of the Unicronians onto the battle plain and the ensuing slaughter caught Starscream by suprise, suprise because he had been the one that had delivered the killing blow to a few that now worked their way slowly towards him. It mattered not that some were even of the Decepticon ranks, he had killed them and now they were alive again, only in his worst nightmares was this even possible. It all gave him pause for a moment, but only a moment. "Gestalt teams form up and attack" Starscream yelled. Whirling parts and blurry interchanges filled the scene before him as the titans took form in front of him.
All the titans marched forward into battle, all but Monstructor who after forming just stood there staring into the sky. "What the frag are you doing?" screamed Starscream "I said form up and attack". Monstructor turned slowly staring almost blankly at Starscream, and then it happened, the lights inside turned on. Reaching over with his left hand he grabbed his right arm, and with an icy smile towards Starscream, Monstructor tore off Scavanger who now made up his right arm. Tossing it on the ground before him he stepped forward with an enormous foot and crushed the spark out of Scavanger as he lay there stunned still locked in his arm mode. "What the frag are you doing" was all Starscream could say before the giant hand of Monstuctor wrapped itself around his paralyzed form. "I command you! I command you screamed Starscream over and over again before breaking off into wild flailing arms and hysterical babbling. Monstructor looked skyward once more, and then dropping his gaze back upon the form of Starscream in his hand and spoke in a voice that froze Starscreams spark within his chest "I... belong to him". Starscream hung there suspended in the air, his eyes wide in in shock, and then he broke into another round of hysterical thrashing. Monstructor drained him of his spark within seconds leaving behind a grey husk which Monstructor with an effortless gesture crushed into powder, thus ending the life of the mighty Starscream.
Skywarp in an instant teleported as far away from the scene as possible. Skywarp wasn"t the smartest of Decepticons but he knew when the odds were stacked against him, he had just stood there and watched as the most devious, underhanded, backstabbing piece of slag died in front of him...again. He had thought Starscream dead before, hadn"t Megatron himself blasted Starscream into pieces before only to have him re-appear again good as new later on. But this time was diffrent something that he couldn"t explain, something deep within his own spark told him that this time was final. Within his mind something broke apart, some thing that held his sanity in check shattered like glass, and faster than the blink of an eye...Skywarp teleported back to the battlefield.
Soundwave took in the reports of this new battle with quiet calculation, silently he pondered the situation. Time stood still within as he weighed outcomes and probabilities. A tacticle plan drawn out with a savants speed and clarity came instantly into focus. Transforming and merging within the empty eyesockets of the blind Trypticon he relayed all of his data on the battle to the massive Decepticon leader. Instantly Trypticon came to life and with a deafening roar fired his jump pack and leapt skyward into battle.
