The SXS A-02 Cold Weapons set offers a shield and sword upgrade for the Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime figure.

Looking at the the little guy behind this teaser pic gives the impression this could be quite a large shield!
Im sure more detailed pics will be available soon, but for now heres just the teaser to get you all riled up!

Apologies if this has already been posted!

And here I was hoping we could quickly sweep this figure under the rug. Still, I'm sure these pieces would work well with WFC Optimus.

I'm all for straight up weapon accessories, as long as the price is decent.

Sadly, this set will likely be around $30. It would be good to have weapons upgrades that actually INTEGRATED WELL with the alt modes. Heh...

There's not a lot of space on the alt mode to integrate with! Besides, these weapons were not shown to enhance the alt modes, just to be used in a certain FoC scene.

These pieces look nice, but not on the highest priority for me. Besides, Megatron is going to need a set for himself.

That's true... ...hence why I wasn't referring to just THIS particular toy. Any toy in which weapon add-ons integrate well into any alt mode is a huge plus. Take Dream Maker's add-on kit for FOC OP and Megs; not the prettiest stuff out there, but they are able to peg on to the toys in alt mode. Just imagine, on this particular mold, a shield or BFG that can fold up and peg on the "truck bed" in alt mode. Yea... Can't think of a better example at the time though...*sigh*...

EDIT: Something like voyager Animated OP's "axe" and "gun." They integrated well into his alt mode, albeit it's an official product that's meant to work well with the toy.

I get your point, I just don't feel every accessory needs to integrate. But, maybe an enterprising individual may take this on...
