How is the combined mode?

The combined vehicle mode is excellent, it's basically their default alt mode.

I sent mine back to Amazon, I paid too much to have a broken toy. Not sure if we should make a breakage article about this. And I am really hoping Hasbro rereleases him with this fixed when Snap Dragon comes out.

Ugh, just found out Apeface isn't confirmed for an Earthrise re-release. That may put a wrench in my plans for waiting

Is it confirmed that he is NOT getting rereleased? Because, as I said, even snap dragon isn't a confirmed release yet and i'd assume they stick em together if Apeface was rereleased.

Astrotrain is the only confirmed Siege rerelease for Earthrise. Any others have not even been mentioned as a possibility.

Battle Squad is available from Amazon now. Should have mine in a couple of days sicne the Targets in my area are all overstocked with older micromasters. Now just waiting on the spy patrol 2 to show up.

How is the combined mode? I was disappointed with the Off Road and Race Car patrols. Bot mode was janky on the dude's with the huge shoulders and combined mode looked lame, to me. The Decepticon's Air Strike patrol rocks and I love the sword mode!

Honestly, I don't care for the "blaster" combined modes.
It seems odd and clunky.

On the other hand...
We need dedicated Targetmasters for those that need some.
Crosshairs, Spinister...
The line is making Gun Bots anyway,
they might as well be doing so for the right guys!

Trenchfoot, of the Alphastrike Counterforce box set from Amazon, makes a pretty good stand-in for Pinpointer as well, even if it is technically a brand new character.

He is pretty dang good. He is full articulated, dense, stable, strong ratchets for joints, and he's got a good imposing presence on him.

I will take one once i get him back to robot mode, I am currently enjoying his base mode a lot

My friend just got me Impactor as an early Christmas present, and I have to say he's a great figure. The gaps don't bother me that much, and I also really enjoy the hands rotating to reveal the 5mm ports. I wish more figures had that option

My order showed up today and I gotta say this is the heaviest figure yet. I've barely opened the package but this figure is definitely heavier than Megatron or Soundwave. And that's without his coal car or weapons.

A viewer gave me a tip when transforming Astrotrain into train mode; rotate the panels on the legs 90° from the body, that will allow the train wheels that are under the wings to rotate into place.

Still no luck finding Ratchet after checking four Walgreens. A lady I talked to today told me they get a couple in every Thursday or Friday on the truck and they're usually gone the next day. I've never had great luck finding exclusives in local stores, I always had to go to higher traffic stores far from me to find them. But now that all of the Rite Aids have been converted to Walgreens I thought more options would mean easier to find. I guess not... Looks like he's gone from the website, too. Guess I'll stop by Thursday or Friday.

You might want to make early phone call to ask if they have him in stock and ask if they can take one aside so you can pick it up later that day.
That has helped me several times at my local used games store.
