i did this awhile back and am finally getting around to posting it. i put silver behind all clear pieces and added silver to about 95% of all the grey plastic, and redid the face in sliver, black, and metallic purple. also added silver to the 4 horns, and metallic purple to the shoulders. hope ya'll like it. it was easy to do and makes a world of difference. Wow, I'm surprised how far a little paint goes. Love the look, and it's rock if you had time to repaint him in metallic burnt orange. Anyhoo, nice one.

damn, good idea! now where could i find a metallic orange in that color in a spray can? i dont have an airbrush. i do have plans to put sme more details on it like on the shins and inner chest. i also thought about using the primus pack in unicron head in place of his original head.
i will do this when i finish up some commissions i have goin. anyway it looks pretty good. Z

Testors offer a metallic spray paint /laquer thar comes only in metallics. Orange is easy to find, I'll give a link if you're interested. Plus, they are certified by AMC, Ford, and GM. :grin:

Yes, they can be used on cars.

The Unicron head in the Primus pack is bigger than the normal head.

The purple on his face looks a little 'in your face' for lack of a better phrase, but the silver adds a whole new menace to him. Well done. But why didn't you do his right hand as well as his left?

the reason for not doing the clear hand is b/c of the light up feature and also b/c it sort of has a chrome characteristic w/ the reflections and bent colors coming thru. i could put a light coat over it like i did my leader brawls clear parts. the lights still shine thru the silver on him. i may just do that. i wasnt going to put a purple "mustache" on him, but it really needed something other than all silver. but i'm happy w/ it. i guess thats all that counts.
