can the g1 movie bots beat starscream thundercracker skywarp dirge thrust and ramjet in a fight to the death

The seekers would not stand a chance against the Sweeps/Cyclonus as Scourge apparently can mass produce them from within his body if you are referring to the cartoon version.

Although Skywarp/thundercracker do have the Teleport and sonic boom in there arsenal I still think that the sweeps would win.

I don't really get how the Seekers would lose...for one thing, the Sweeps are pretty much useless, do they ever actually accomplish anything besides being there for Galvatron to kill?
Then, it says three sweeps(sort of) while there's 6 Seekers(including the ConeHeads) which puts them at a numbers advantage.
One on one I think StarScream could take Cyclonus, ThunderCracker Scourge, and the Sweeps would be wiped out and then there'd just be more to help against Cyclonus and Scourge.

Cyclonus alone could beat the Seekers.

Hell, the Autobots needed help from Megatron to beat Scourge.

Gah, I'm not well versed in the comics, I've only seen the cartoon >_<
I guess they were portrayed VERY differently in each.

He seemed to more outsmart them than overpower them, though it shows he was a capable fighter at least, sliced that one guy up with a piece of metal pretty good.

Yeh its Transformers Target 2006: Basically Galvatron goes back in time to beat everyone up. In stead of in the future so the uk comics basically diverge almost completely from the US & Cartoon.

I think Cyclonus could easily take on starscream 1on1 and scourge thudercracker and skywarp.
I'm not really sure about dirge,thrust and ramjet. They were pretty thick in the cartoon and had only minor appearances in the comics. They were not as good as the original three I don' think.

I did not know this. Where did you get that information?

Anyways...My money would be on Cyclonus and Scourge with Sweeps beating the seekers.

Thundercracker, SS and Skywarp would be the seekers to put up the real fight though. The coneheads are in reality cannon fodder really. Dirge always dies. Thrust is a serious coward and Ramjet is an idiot.

As I understand it (based entirely on the cartoon) he has a vast armada of sweeps at his control and serve as extensions of his will (based on what is written in his botcon biocard)

when he was reformated by Unicron in the Movie there was in the background two sweeps made who later on got killed by Grimlock then he has 4 more when he kills Ultra Magnus on the planet of Junk.

Can anybody verify this for me. I'm positive he does mass replicate them otherwise where did they all come from??

Cyclonus and Scourge. But Starscream may sneak his way into the enemy's trust and obliterate them from the inside. Cuz that sounds like something Starscream would do.
