Is TFA broadcasted in widescreen in Japan? I'm guessing that's why there's those Autobot boarders on the sides. But I know that when Animated was produced, it was made in widescreen and then they cut it to fullscreen. So if Takara is gonna go through all this trouble, why not just use the widescreen footage and dub over that?

But so far, it looks the same. I'd just be interested what changes they make later on. Like how they address the whole Sari thing for example.

What needs to be addressed with the Sari storyline? (aside from HeckFires course observations...) I liked that subplot/storyline, it was fun, just like all of animated was a good solid, fan servicing fun series. The fact the Sari storyline was a rip off- I mean "Homage" to Astroboy shouldn't hurt things should it? Or is that not what you mean?

True enough, and, honestly, there's still enough differences between Sari and Mighty Atom that it probably won't even be an issue. I'm more curious about the issues brought up in the OP thread, specifically how they get around having Arcee and Ironhide being in the opening when they don't even show up as anything other than flashback cameos until Season 3 (and who the blazes is the red-eyed guy in the cloak?).

The biggest continuity problem will be if "The Sound and the Fury" actually airs 4th, or did that announcement turn out to be faulty?

I might be wrong but i think the computer system (I wanna call it Teletraan 1?) and Omega Supreme were two seperate "characters" with two seperate voices. Its been a while, and i'm not going to watch it again to check, but i think the computer system had a female voice in the american version aswell... It was something like Optimus commanded Teletraan to activate "Code Omega" but Teletraan replied that the function had been disabled by the Elite Guard... Like i said, it was a while ago i watched but i think it was something like that

Teletraan 1 is just the computer system on the ship when Omega Supreme isn't online. Anyways, looks good so far. Still have no idea how they're going to fit this before the first movie.

Is that the whole episode? Where's all the scenes in the beginning with OP and crew finding the all-spark? Maybe this is the editing people were saying was going to happen. Not bad though. I do think that they didn't choose the right voice for Starscream. It's barely screechy at all :???:
