Profile: In the days before the Cybertronian civil war, Overlord was both an avid spectator of Megatron's gladiatorial matches and a participant in the bouts, even fighting Megatron himself. Megatron would be the only opponent to ever defeat Overlord, and he did do regularly, giving Overlord a pathological fear of defeat. All the same, Overlord still joined Megatron's Decepticon faction upon its founding, though it was not the loftiness of the Decepticon cause that Megatron espoused which enticed him. Rather, it was the chance to have the glorious excess of the gladiator battles move beyond the arena, to encompass entire worlds. To Overlord, the ends didn't matter overly much when the means themselves were this pleasurable. As a result his tactics developed a reputation as unsound, and his schemes as nothing more than flights of brutal whimsy. Unlike many other powerful Decepticons, he had no interest in command, only in taking his slaughter to the next stage. Megatron was not convinced, however, believing the image of Overlord as simply interested in killing to be a façade, and began searching for a way to exert greater control over him.

Recognizing Overlord's power, Megatron regularly sparred with him, and eventually, three million years ago, selected him to be the fourth candidate for an upgrade process that would transform him into a world-shatteringly powerful superwarrior. Rendered virtually indestructible by an infusion of ununtrium to his endoskeleton, Overlord's first action as a member of the "Warriors Elite" was to smash out of his capsule and kill the scientist who oversaw the process, Rossum. He could not, however, do the same to Megatron: the Decepticon leader had not been foolish, and had, during the upgrade process, had Shockwave equip Overlord with both a killswitch that could deactivate him, and infect him with an Achilles virus that caused a "tactical blindspot" preventing him from figuring out how to harm Megatron. When Soundwave was captured by the Autobots and brought to the New Institute for brainwashing, Overlord saw his chance to free himself from these shackles. While ostensibly attacking the facility to rescue Soundwave, he also captured the cerebroscientist Trepan, and studied the basics of mnemosurgery from him, intending to hack Shockwave's memories and learn how to deactivate his killswitch and the virus. Megatron caught wind of Overlord's scheming before he learned how to interface with others, and had Trepan killed.

During the early years of the war on Caldoon 4 Overlord slaughtered a battalion of Autobots before making his way to a meeting which involved Megatron and Sixshot. It was here he was informed that Megatron had finalized his infiltration protocol and that the assembled Decepticons would be his "phase sixers"; two extremely powerful warriors who would visit planets on the verge of collapse and wipe out any possible resistance. While Sixshot merely declared "For the Decepticons", Overlord was less pleased at the idea of simply being a weapon to point and shoot. When he asked what if he aspired for something more, Megatron informed him of two options; either do as he was told or refuse, in which case Megatron would hunt him down and render him limb from limb.

Overlord was sobered by this ultimatum, but only momentarily. Overlord returned to the battle outside, and messily dispatched every Autobot. He used his position to get closer to Megatron. It was then that he discovered he had a "tactical blind spot" and couldn't figure out how to hurt Megatron like he could everyone else, the result of the virus installed in him. Now fully understanding how the Achilles virust worked, his plans to eliminate the Decepticon leader and gain his ultimate freedom were placed on hold. He continues to nominally obey Megatron while at the same time seeking a cure for the virus planted inside of him.

Overlord is a sadist of the worst order. He does not fight or believe in any greater ideals, morals or goals. He fights only to revel in the slaughter and chaos. His respect for other intelligent life lies at the bottom of the scale, even for a Decepticon. He has no problem sacrificing or even outright executing other Decepticons who get in his way or fail to obey his orders. Autobots speak his name with fear and Decepticons anticipate his arrival on the battlefield with dread.

Abilities: Overlord was an extremely powerful being even before he underwent the ‘superwarrior’ process. The process stripped him down to his endoskeleton, which was then bonded with the rare metal ununtrium. This metal has rendered his endoskeleton nigh invulnerable, making it impossible to reach his spark and incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to reach his brain module. Overlord is now un-killable by any conventional means known.

The fact that Megatron put Overlord through the superwarrior process, made him a member of his ‘Warriors Elite’ and then a ‘Phase Sixer’ is a good indication of the Decepticon’s power levels. Phase Sixers are literally charged with the outright complete devastation of a world and its population. It is exactly the type of mission profile Overlord excels at.

Overlord’s raw fighting prowess and firepower are nearly unmatched on either side. He is capable of wading into entire groups of Autobots and crushing them with nothing but his bare hands. His massive size and incredible strength allow him to literally tear apart opponents. The Decepticon has seemingly endless experience in melee combat and revels in covering his hands in an enemy’s internal workings and fluids.

As far as weapons go his standard sidearm is his Destroyer Cannon, a massive rifle like gun that fires blasts of pure plasma. These bolts are enough to tear a large hole through even a sturdy transformer at close range. On his torso, hidden behind slide open panels are both a double barreled laser canon and a series of 6 launch tubes that can fire off whatever ordinance he can manufacture in his internal weapons factor. His tank mode uses the Destroyer Cannon as its main gun while the jet mode has the double barreled laser canon mounted on top, typically withdrawn internally to maintain a more aerodynamic profile while in the air. When tank and jet are merged into a superjet the main cannon becomes a powerful nose gun as the upper half of the tank is locked into the underbelly of the jet.

Overlord’s most powerful ability is the combination of his sub neural processors and his internal weapons factory. The sub-neural processors allow him to analyze an opponent and pick out his weaknesses, whether they are physical or psychological, on an instinctive level. His internal weapons factory then allows him to generate whatever weapons he needs to go along with the tactics formed by the processors. These weapons can be ordinance deployed from his launch tubes or by extendable or pop out weapons on his arms and legs. This adaptability in battle has made him a highly skilled tactician.

In his jet modes Overlord is capable of flying from planet to planet in a solar system and achieving escape velocity from a planet’s gravity well.

Overlord is familiar with the basics of the basics of mnemosurgery.

Weaknesses: Overlord possesses no physical weaknesses. The fact that other Decepticons are terrified of him means he often fights alone, but with his power it is rarely a problem. His penchant for overly reckless plots and schemes could conceivably be used against him. Overlord does have a deep seated fear of failure, but this is only known by him and, aside from his sparring against Megatron, he has never lost. Overlord is equipped with both a ‘killswitch’, a code word or phrase that will deactivate him completely, and an Achilles virus that prevents him from striking down Megatron. Both of these failsafes could be used against him, but likely only by Megatron.
