Edit: the original Premise was for alternate Transformers worlds or What if things were different, but we kinda gravitated to Transformers U.K., so I changed the title...

What if, Hasbro decided to do a What if toy line.. like not a toy line based on a comic book of War Within or Steel Hearts or anything like that..

But let's say they decided to do a toy line based on different interpretations of what transformers could have been like had the world been a different place or had their been different circumstances.. like a metero knocking the Ark to a different spot on Earth, or optimus Prime going by a different name..

Here's an example, DC Comics is releasing Action figures based on What if, or alternate reality worlds with different versions or names of their main characters.. Like superman falling to earth in Russia instead of smallville.. or Batman as a russian special ops police, ect.. and even in the late 80s Marvel comics had their own what if line of comic Books which were very popular.

People like variety.. so here is my bid for an alternate toyline.. I call it "Transformers U.K...."

A toyline based on the Transformers falling to earth, but landing in different places... the Autobots and the Ark land in what will be known as the U.K. the Decepticons land in what is seiberia Russia..

Optimus Prime is called Trideca Prime, and is a Big red London Bus..

Prowl is called Constable and looks like this, an armored Police truck:

and Bumblebee is known as Union and looks like this, he's a Mini, with a British shield, and a bad attitude..:

a digibash of Trideca Prime to come... have no clue of what to redo Megatron or any others as.. but it's gotta be russian themed what ever it is..

so, would you buy a What if toy line???

I want a Mini Cooper transformer as it's my favourite car. I'd rather it not be Bumblebee though, because I really can't stand him. Cliffjumper would be fine.

But yes, I'd totally buy a Mini Cooper transformer. Not so sure about the triple decker prime though. =/ That's just a bit out there.

well Union wouldn't be Bumblebee necessarily, he would be an equivalent to Bumblebee or Cliffjumper.. meaning he's the smaller guy.. but has a bad attitude and is always loking for a good slag match!! :grin:

and as far as the Bus goes, here in the US a Semi Truck is like a Lion, king of the Beasts...but in the U.K. the Big Red Bus is an Icon and is king of the transports over there.. I just picked it because it's decidedly British in nature..

I don't know about any of you guys, but if Hasbro decided to do a Minicooper called union and an Armored police truck called Constable, with a British bobbi looking hat/head like my digibash, I'd buy it no matter what toy line it was in..

I just like the name constable and Union as British Transformers.. I mean the U.K. Needs their own guys like the Marvel comics has done.. with Captain Britain and union Jack, ect... excalibur, ect...

Not often you see a red bus here in Cardiff, all ours are bright orange and green. =P

I just don't feel the bus is heroic enough for prime though. Trouble is there really isn't a better British themed equivalent... So I guess it's the best choice after all.

Hell, yea big red Pime bus!
They'll have to make a repaint of Union in green with a black stripe on the side, with a headmaster called "rubber face" (10 points of coolnes for anybody who gets that)

They could make one playing in WWII, the cons landing in Germany and Megatron transforms into Hitlers Mercedes!

Now that would be awesome!

well they could always just add those guys to the mythos, Trideca Prime could just be a bot that looks like a British Royal Guard, except with a toned down big fuzzy hat.. LOL :grin:

Still, I'd like to see what other people could come up with based on regional cars Trucks, and other odd machinery that are country specific.. when you think of the possabilities for off shoot stories.. it's actually pretty interesting..

A toy line that doesn't feature Optimus Prime as a name..Or Megatron as Villain's name.. and I know Hasbro has to use those names for a certain amount of time or they loose the License, I suppose.. but there are already series that carry those names out and about, so if Hasbro decided to do an alternate world where Trideca Prime was a U.K. Version of what Optimus Prime would have been then it would be kinda cool.. just as they could use a different set of names for the villians..

Ofcourse, it would be neat either way to see the U.K. get exclusive transformers...Japan already has the Victory, Zone, and Beast Wars Neo, Beast Wars 2 continuity and additional lines of Toys..

I think a core group of Autobots and Decepticons, whether alterate reality, a side pocket of G-1, or an addition to the Classics line up.. or what have you, would be a great idea to give to the U.K. as their specific exclusive transformers.. Ofcourse I would import them fo sho!!!

I don't get the Trideca name for Red Bus Prime, considering it's only a dubble decca. The Mini is a good idea.

A London black Cab as well (actually unusual that there's not been a yellow NYC taxi cab TF as well)

Definately liking the 2nd idea for Prowl with his yellow and blue cheques.

someone should be a Ford Capri and it'd be pretty funny to have an Only Fools and Horses styled Reliant van.

How about Jazz as an Aston Martin?
