This guy.

And even though he's one of my favorite Armada characters and looks like a badass with my favorite color combo (purple and black :x ) I already have a modern version of him from the club, I'd rather they did just do a straight Tetra Jet repaint for G1 Skywarp for Siege.

This is a question of honest curiosity. What's the obsession with Tetrajets? Is it simply because of the Cybertronian altmode, like lamppost Soundwave?

I do think it would be cool to get Cybertronian Jazz and Wheeljack. I already use the legends Scrounge we got with CW Computron as Cybertronian Bumblebee. It's close enough. >:oP

The tetrajets were shown on the Siege posters, and this line supposed to have pre-Earth Cybertronian altmodes like those seen in "More than Meets the Eye, Part 1" for everyone.

Mostly it's because they have a unique look and we've never gotten proper figures of them, just things that look somewhat like them like Cybertron Starscream, Titanium Seekers, and FoC seekers.

But still not this:

Of course as off as some of Hasbro's toy art has been we aren't necessarily getting figures that look exactly like what was on the poster.

Still seems like something closer to it than previous attempts. The wings on the gun seems to be the cybertronian equivalent of having guns pegged on/under the fighter jet wings so my guess is those are 5mm port guns.

Yes, I was. Like, if the jets weren't on the poster, would you guys still clamor for them just as strongly? Or is their presence intensifying the demand for them?

I'm pretty sure the moment we found out what the aesthetic of Siege was people started clamoring for Tetrajet.

Pretty much this, if we were told that this was an attempt to bridge season 2 and 3 of the original cartoon, then there wouldn't be near as much talk on them.

Or, if we were told that this was to be an Armada reboot, then people would be rightfully clamoring for Mini-Cons or a green-tank Megatron with a pronged helmet.

Tetrajets would be nice, but I'm not sure how well it would work without resulting in shellformation. I'm more interested in whether or not they can pull off some of the others, like Wheeljack, Jazz, and Bumblebee. From what they've shown, however, things don't really seem to be lining up with the Episode 1 look; it's almost more of a gritty, Mad Max-type of aesthetic rather than the streamlined, UFO-type of design.

Glarryg

They appear to be going for Cybertronian/futuristic alt modes with G1 cartoon bot modes, or at least Earth-looking bot modes. It's hard to say for sure until we see the alt modes for known characters with Cybertronian alt modes from episode 1. I'm thinking for the Tetra Jets the sides will unfold to make more traditional G1 Earth jet wings, the rest will probably transform similar to Cybertron Starscream.

Skytread aka Flywheels sold as a Deluxe? Makes sense, PotP Battletrap was practically Deluxe-sized.

^But the question is, will he be like PotP Battletrap was? Meaning will they sell the two separate legends figures together simply as one deluxe? (The unique nature of Cog doesn't make it out of the realm of possibility), also because legends class doesn't exist in this particular line, we can only hope it is the same design aesthetic, and not just a single deluxe figure called Skytread.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Could be a deluxe triplechanger. People would whine but it would still be better than just being a disembodied head. >:oP

Yeah, plus with the MSRP price of Deluxe now being double that of Legends it makes sense from a financial standpoint.

As expected, all Decepticons.

My guess is he'd be a classically CHUG Shockwave who goes nicely with the Leader Seekers, CW Megatron and TR Soundwave.

I consider "Micro Master Class" simply a renamed "Legends Class", we've had two-packs at that price point with the FoC Data Discs. Plus, I think at this point making a Deluxe Triple-Changer would be a no-go. Then there's the supposed policy of adhering to G1 gimmicks to consider.

Maybe they'll do something similar to Magnus where he's a Voyager-size guy with armor (perhaps a re-use of the unused Shockwave Prime design from the POTP fan vote).

I think they would have just gave us Shockwave as onyx prime if he had won the vote ;-) it's likely hasbro knew and approved of what barber was setting up over at idw so it would be a nice bleed over to the toys for them.

They're basically sticking to 'no extra gimmicks unless it was on the original' so I doubt it.
