Even though tomatoes aren't vegetables.

I was waiting for soemone to point that out. They are Fruits. They come from a flowering plant just like peppers(which I grow).

Actually, anything that has seeds, whether on the inside or outside, is technically a fruit. Tomatoes, squash, peppers, avocadoes, eggplant, etc are all fruits.

That is your useless tidbit of knowledge for the day.

So what's a vegetable? Does it have to grow underground to be a vegetable? Or am I stupid? Or maybe I don't care?

Oh, you care. Oh yes, you do.

No, it doesn't have to grow underground. Some do like potatoes, onions, carrots, etc, but others like lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, asperagus, cabbage obviously do not. Botanically opposite of fruits, vegetables do not have seeds.

You guys failed big time with the potatoes. Next time, don't put potatoes with blight next to the healthy potatoes. You'll reduce the odds of another potato famine, k?

Never eat a potato that has a green tint to it; it will give you the shits. That's always fun.

I know that, but we are supposed to pick from the list and vote, right? Therefore, I voted for tomatoes.

I call shenanigans. Blatant disregard to the entrance requirements on the tomato's part.

Yeah, tomato totally got grandfathered in there. This is complete discrimination to other deserving, qualified vegetables.
