I was not very thrilled with this issue. The art seemed a bit better, but the story was lacking.

I did like how the Battle Beasts made a cameo inside of Unicron...

I didn't even find this to be much fun. It felt very dry, straightforward, predicatable....I know it is only a two issue mini, but this one was bad.

Another high point: Monstructor made an appearance, but after surviving many blows by what would seem to be more powerful ordinance, 3 joes with lasers shot at his head took him down (Way to go Sci FI, Flash, and ????).

It now appears also like the GI joe Star Brigade is starting because they offered to police, and organize all of the critters living in and on Unicron...

Overall, I did not enjoy the series much, but there were some interesting cameos.

Any thoughts you guys want to share???

i hated the fist ddp gi vs tf book, then second was ok-the last one was dreadful, there was a couple of ok aspects (using bludgeon) but over all it sucked, particularly pissed that characters faces disappeared the second they stepped into the background, sloppy sloppy work

The art work could of been better. Cool enough comic though.

Bludgeon seemed to be a good addition, but I think he needed some re-creation, to me he just did not seem to fit well. Due to Stormbringer, I feel like his character in this was so blah, that you could have thrown any Decepticon in there and it would have been the exact same. To me that is when you know you have not used a character correctly.

Still found the artwork to be very half-@$$ed at so many points. Everything felt flat, like there was very little depth to speak of. :-?

I was never a fan of the GI Joe/TF crossovers to begin with.

And this two parter has not changed my opinion one bit.

I was excited to see Monstrucator finally in action in a comic book (I don't recall him being in the old Marvel series at least) only to be disappointed by how badly he was drawn.

Not to mention the piss weak way he was brought down.

Three Joes running across the bridge ... with Prime running behind them. Why is a giant robot running when a shuffle would allow him to keep up with humans?

Unicron defeated by mushrooms? Yeah ... okay. And was that suppose to be an organic brain in Unicron?

Poor mini-series indeed. No doubt though it'll turn out to be an integral part in a future storyline. They'd just want to improve their art and tell a better story though.

I was very unimpressed with this issue, very sloppy and rushed indeed. I could due without any more of these crossovers. Unfortunately, these Devil Due crossovers always set up another story, so I'm sure another crossover is expected in the near future. Hopefully they will put some effort into the inevitable future issues.

The Battle Beasts were a fun addition, though I don’t need a mini series about Star Brigade fighting them.
