Hey, I've got a Cyclonus figure... Unicron trilogy Cyclonus, but...

He's green. What the Hell? Why is my Cyclonus green? I know that's not normal. Is it some sort of repaint, or... ?

I was surprised to see Armada Cyclonus to repainted as that, seeing as it was a Constructicon homage and they already had one in Armada(Scavenger)

Don't be ridiculous. If it's light green, it's a constructicon homage. No exceptions. Armada Scavenger? Constructicon homage. Powerlinx Cyclonus? Contructicon homage. Movie Ratchet? Constructicon homage. You're probably just getting confused because Springer was a Constructicon homage too.

It's a good thing that was sarcasm, because I was about to reach through my computer and start poking you annoyingly until you saw the truth...the Kay Bee toys exclusive repaint of Cyclonus is a Springer homage, but it was done originally in Japan.

Which one are you guys talking about? The green PL Cyclonus was a regular release in Armada. The KB exclusive was the urban camo Energon release of Cyclonus.

Heh, nevermind... Powerlinx Cyclonus is a homage to Springer. Although the colours don't exactly match very well.

I beg to differ. Take a look at their copter modes especially.

Same green. Same grey. The only thing wrong with PL Cyclonus is the maroon blades and wings. And the Decepticon symbol should be an Autobot one, if they wanted to do a true homage.

All things considered, I think he's better than the BotCon Springer. Springer has never a SWAT tank. He was helicopter, and for 1 brief moment in TFTM, he was a race car. Heck, he was a human longer than he's ever been in that mode.
