We're kinda veering off-topic.

Let me revive the discussion:

Do you think now that she has proved her potential in Transwarped, should Sari get her own toy?

So while I was on the toilet I thought of a new theory. Well it's not really a theory because its going to happen. I know because I worked it out by myself.

Bumblebee and Sari are going to fall madly in love. If you watch Transwarped like I did, you'd see that Bumblebee's first words to the new Sari are something like "You look different" which is CLEARLY a pass at her. And she was always in love with him anyway because he was the first Transformer she met which means they're in love. So then they'll have a kid and Prime'll be like "You're too young for the responsibility!" and then Ratchet will invent a time machine for the express purpose of ditching the baby somewhere in the timestream which just so happens to be Sumdac's lab which probably isn't an accident because Megatron planned it.

Now to write the fanfiction.

I think the origins of Sari will be more important than that so just sit back watch animated and we will learn everything about Sari.

This is a bit farfetched but hear me out.

I haven't had long to think this one through but I think it's pretty sound. Tell me what you guys think.

The reason they wont make a toy of her is quite simple.

Are you ready for this?

She's not a Transformer.

Maybe she could be an exclusive, packed with Bumblebee.

Remember, the process works the other way around. Toys first, cartoon after. Anything that isn't a Transformer is part of the cartoon and not part of Hasbro's interests.

And there'd be no point packing her with Bumblebee. The most logical gimmick with that set up is that she could sit inside Bumblebee. Every kid who had a human and a vehicle would want one to sit inside the othe. The problem is that Sari no longer needs wheels.

I dunno, Hasbro's pretty interesting in adding a Spike figure to a Bumblebee figure in the movie line. Depending on how well it sells, they could add Sari to an Animated BB - at a future date.

You'll be kicking yourself when they share their first kiss! You'll be like "OH NO THAT CRAZY GUY IN THE TOP HAT WAS RIGHT!".

Yeah but Spike can sit inside Bumblebee. If they made a Sari, she'd be in her pre-robot form, but no kid really wants that, so they'd make her a robot, in which case she wouldn't need Bumblebee.

They go all out in terms of merchandise for the Movie because its a big movie. And they'll make money from selling all this peripheral junk along side the main toys.

Animated doesn't have quite the reach so making the extra effort to include a character who only, I'd say, a small portion of the viewership actually like would be a fair monetary loss.

I can safely say... If they made a Sari, I wouldn't buy her.

But I would buy an Angry Archer.

They did make Kicker with the Highwire figure in Energon - and he wasn't exactly a shelf warmer, despite the fact that he's hated as much as Wheelie - if not more so.
