I was just all over the toys forum wondering how the hell this made it past the second page. When stuff was showing as last post Wednesday I figured 'well fair enough, it must have been at the top of page 2 and when I linked from page 1 somebody had just posted something'. Back to page 1 and nothing. Trawled through it three times in the end. Only got wind of it when I noticed that all the other area specific threads had 'moved' against them and the last post by Getter, but I still couldn't see the ODB showing anywhere with a 'moved' against it. Quite frustrating, but once everyone manages to find it I'm sure we'll enjoy our new home. After all, we should never have to suffer the indignaty of dropping to the second page again!

TM2 megatron expect to pay anything from £15 at the lowest to £45 at the very highest and be amazed at its awesomeness. Best to try and get a boxed one they are still readily availible without being stupid prices and means you wont have the vaccumised metal flaking off it when you get it.

TigerHawk should be around the same if not less as its not as highly sought after as anything named megatron.

BM megatron is cute but throughly underwhelming - tiniest mega ever!

well i just got back from seeing the movie...and no there will be no spoilers...just my opinion...and its one word...WOW!

I thought it would be good from what i saw in the trailers, but it was even better...it was so entertaining that even my 60 year old Mum (who took me coz i have no money) absoloutely loved it...I defy any TF fan to hate this movie...yes some may not like the designs (im not one of them), but the rest is just pure TF gold...YARRR!!!

edit: not sure this thread belongs in this forum, it isnt just a sightings thread, it has a bit of everyting, and we wont get much passing trade where we are now, i can see the good ship ODB floundering if we dont get her to familiar waters...YARRR!!!

I'm not disgruntled at the moment, but I may be soon. I managed to get the G1 Ultra Magnus and War Within Megatron from Argos this morning, haven't opened them yet. The reason I may end up disgruntled is, from what I've read on the news thread about Magnus and Megs being released in Canada, it sounds like the figures either don't transform very easily, and don't stand up well in robot mode? Should I leave them boxed?

Yarr, that's why ye should be taking a map with ye when ye leave ship fer plundering duties. Takes ye striaght back. Now, what be this sightings thread we be sailing to? The ODB be sailing into uncharted waters in the quest for the prized possesion. A full sized, fully transformable figure of Unicron. What better place to be than the sightings thread? Though these seas unsettle me. The ODB was better suited fer the toys thread. Not many ships sail through these parts, less booty fer us to plunder. And who knows what kind of mystical critters are lurking, waiting to attack. Arr, the ODB be a fine ship with a solid crew, but I fear she may run into something she cant handle here.

Arrgh, glad to hear the movie is awsome. I have never stated the action would be crap, I knew full well it would be visually OTT as Bays movies are, thats why I love them, I only commented on the designs (which I have grown to like) and all other aspects of the movie I am reserving judgement for when I see it.

Yarr!

Was looking for it for ages until Dead Metal pointed me to here!
Not sure this is really the forum for this as it's not really just a sightings thread. I know I usually use it as that but not just for that!

Now that i've managed to find this thread i can say that i just got back from seeing the movie!

!!NO SPOILERS HERE!!

I have to say that i'm very impressed with it. I did go in there with it built up in my mind to be the best movie i'd ever see. And it didn't fall too short of the mark.

Good amounts of action and comedy, the effects are also great!!

I shall be going to see it again soon!

So much for the tight budget I mentioned earlier - I've rather chuffed to say I just picked up RID spychanger Scourge (& X-brawn) opened but in packaging for under £4.00. Also Classic Prime, Titanium Soundwave & Anakin Star Wars (all minus a few parts but hey I'm not so fussy) for £5.00. Also got a Playskool Tranformer 'silverbolt' (I think) for my little kid (due Sept 07) again £4.00. Looking forward for them all arriving.

Arrrr! I be well pleased wiv me booty!

I also just got back from the cinema. Its a lot better than expected. My biggest wish is that Megatron had had the right voice, then there could have been more interaction between him and Prime and it would have meant more to the fans as it was his voice is very generic.

I wont give any plot away but I do want say a few things so if you are utterly paranoid about knowing anything or reading peoples opinions DO NOT READ ON.

There were some unanswered questions that I hope get sorted in the next film such as why did that sector 7 guys face get used by the Decepticons? The state of some characters are unknown at the end of the movie, what happened to them?

It feels like the first film in a series as you dont really see any kind of dyamics between the Decepticon characters, Megs and Starscream have one small exchange. They dont seem to spend any time together.

You dont get time to get bored by the explanation. The robots emote just fine. The animation is incredible. Some of the things the Autobots said and did surprised me.

Overall, its a darn good film and well worth the ticket price. Looking forward to the Blu Ray disc now, its picture should be superior to the big screens. I dont know how often the projectors are calibrated or focused but it isnt often enough.

I was worried i would never see this thread again.

Anyway i just got back from seeing it too. I couldn't pick out anything wrong with that movie, it was perfect and in someways really refreshing. It was personal for us Transformers fans but great for just anybody to watch. Which reminds me the cinema was packed with a whole mix back of people, considering it hasn't actually been properly released yet!

Also i took my misses to see it and she picked up on a MAJOR ERROR in the film...Megan Fox's nail polish wasn't consistant throughout the film...red one scene...none on the next. TYPICAL that she would notice that out of all things.
Well be expecting perfect nail polish consistancy in TF2 please Mr Bay.

Anyway im very please all round!

Woohoo came back from seeing the movie and it was good. the soundtrack was awesome. won't say no more mateys.

Nail polish?! dude, i wasn't staring at her hands lol  if anything i'd say the camera work was pretty shoddy, way too much movement during action scenes to the point where sometimes i couldn't even tell what was going on.

I saw the voice changer helmet at a friends in person today , lol omg its so sweet  I might get one now, the hours of fun I can have saying random stuff as prime

the design itself is pretty well done and I've only ever seen them on the shelf in stores but to actually see people using it lol, was a right laugh!

From most action films out at the minute it seems like its a cinematography faux pas to actually be able to tell whats going on in any given action scene.

loved the film btw just back from seeing it Im forcing myself to say no more than that before i explode into a rant taht could last all night to type

OMG lol Hugo Weaving (aka Mr. Smith in The Matrix and that Elf leader dude in the LOTR) does the voice of Megatron in the movie!!

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0915989/

lol that automatically makes Megs new voice cool now, to be played by such a talented actor. :)

Astro-Furby I agree but then all the other threads in this section will start whining about not being in the other section, even though this thread is not just for sightings, its a thread where all of us get together and discuss all aspects of TF including comics, movies and toys and voice opinions. I'd say the only other thread worthy of being moved with us is the Michiganders thread.

And its a pain having to click forums, scrolling down to sightings, clicking sightings, finding ODB. they don't even have a shortcut to this section. As much respect as I have for the admins and mods, i'm not too happy about this thread being here.

oh yeah, AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!
