Harr! Glad that I could be of service to my mightiest crew!

This may well be a step towards establishing our own forum mateys! 8)

Arr, that be a good price for the game. Be it worthy of our dubloons? If so, I will definetly popping around and seeing if I can't grasp one for meself!

Arr, I agree that Robo-Chugster was the better choice matey.

And again, I will definetly be picking up the BM boxset. While the toys were poor, the show itself was the best I have seen a cartoon in many, many, MANY moons! :-?

EDIT:- Har har har! Like the pirate I be, I have stole the first post of the new post-millenium from under yer very noses!

Mwah har har har harr! :P

I bought it from my Tesco for £6.50. I really enjoyed it though some of the plot points annoy. Won't say too much in case some peeps aren't as aware of it as I am.

Can't wait for the last half of the series!

Anypoo, watched the movie, thought it was swell, you know, apart from all the shakycam giving me a headache, and bought the delux '78 Bumbles and Brawl.
Brawls pretty nice, as is bumbles, but his thing that lets the bonnet down WOULDNT work (it just wouldnt budge, then i forced it snapping the clips, so he's going right back ot the next TrU I apear at.

Arrr. Be ye having any troubles with the Deluxe Brawl.

All the complaints I've read have made me think twice about purchasing him...

Watch. That. Movie.

Seriously. Yeah, it has it's faults, but as long as you are not a G1 pureist, you will love it. It has easily made my top 5 fav movies of all time.

When Prime spoke the first time, one of my friends started bowing in his seat at the screen. 4/5. Worth the 3 week wait we had over the rest of the world.

Oh yeah, nearly forgot. Arrr!

Only problem I have with Brawl is that his arms keep popping out of the place where you put the clip everytime I try to pose him.

By the way, I be new to these waters but hope this fine ship will be somewhere to call a second home. Arrgh.

Arr.

I feel dirty. Me papa brought home a pirate copy of the tf movie. Thankfully it stopped working half way through, so I still must go to the movies for me tf goodness!

Prime was spooky to hear again...

Yarr, people been saying they be having troubles with Brawl's shoulders. But there's ways to fix it, so if that's the only niggle he will be mine!

I have Deluxe and FAB Brawl, and I dont know why, but I almost prefere the FAB version. I dont know why (Deluxe Brawl is one of the nicest deluxes Ive seen in a good long time), I just kinder like the simple chunkyness with reasonable easy posability that FAB Brawl has.

I feel ashamed. Doesn't matter though. I was gonna go to the cinema to see it whether I had seen it elsewhere or not!
I just now know that the first half, where it's still building up, is still pretty good.

Brits...i wanna rant!

ARGOS! They boggle my mind! Not only is it a shop that has a crap sales system but they can't take pictures of their products properly either. Are the people employed in Argos stores and head office all complete r-tards?

I've been to a lot of different Argos stores in my time and every single one is the same. They are slow, the staff are dumb, idle and rude, my number gets called but doesn't come out for around 20mins after and if you wanna buy something such as a TF toy you can't pick exactly which one you want without having ask to see each one. Its just crap!

Look that is image from their website, this image represents the Voyager Assortment.

1)Jazz is isn't a Voyager
2)Jazz's arms are completely messed up.
3)Jazz's alt mode hasn't been properly transformed.
4)Ratchet's feet are somehow green
5)Ratchet's arms also look messed up, although not as bad as Jazz.

Am i being to picky? Or do you guys also think Argos is full of idiots with no common sense?

well Hasbro and Argos may have just redeemed themselves, we may have the OPs/BB Concept 2 pack in Argos, see here http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12654&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=, although no one is sure if it is the 2 pack or just a Voyager OP with a carded 70's BB (as all the pics they have suggest)

They also have Nightwatch OP in stock as well

I agree that Argos is rubbish. The thing that came in the Daily Mirror today to promote the new catalogue has 2 pages dedicated to transformers. If you look at the Movie legends 4 pack thing it shows the legend Ratchet and Bumblebee in vehicle mode, but then shows Deluxe BB and Voyager Ratchet. Madness!

Argos are morons, but I like getting to choose which tf I want myself, especially rather than them picking for me!

And the pic thing is just like WW's Cl UM & SW 2-pack thing. They just pluck random images off of Hasbro's site and throw them in there.

Finally gots me Primus today. For £25, I just couldn't pass it up.

So far I haven't paid full price for any supreme class figure I have bought! :D

Saw the movie today. Substandard action film that couldn't even be saved by the effects. Majority of US syndicated SF shows would have looked just as good. Bought myself a 20th Prime afterwards to cheer myself up. Once the black paint effects are removed, the smokestacks replaced and the grill re-chromed he'll be fantastic. TRU also had loads of Primus figures at the £25 mark but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I want the Unicron head dammit!

Yep, that's how I gots me Primus for cheap.

Here's the list of what I paid!

1.) Armada Unicron- £20 from The Entertainer just after christmas one year.
2.) Energon Omega Supreme- £5! from ASDA!
3.) Cybertron Primus- £25 from TRU in Shrewsbury.

So, technically I paid the full price for one supreme figure for all three I wanted! Yay for British patience and sneakiness! 8)

I am the pirate 8)

They didn't find my barganing posture dubious at all! :P

His transformation and both modes are pretty darn simple, almost basic level. So there's no way he's worth £50 at all. But, I find £5 the be a fair, tidy sum to pay for him. Plus, for me, he's in perfect scale with the Classics. More or less.

Hi! :D

Well I was in both Argos and Tru today. I'm afraid I succumbed in Argos and bought Ultimate Bumblebee seeing as they only had one in stock! I've taken him out of the box but haven't transformed him yet but he looks cool so far and a bit better than I expected after reading and seeing poor things about him.
I also really fancy Nightwatch Prime but I can't quite afford him yet. Is it just me or does he look slightly cooler in blue?
Tru had that new transforming phone/sword and Pda/crossbow but at £14.99 each I think they're a bit steep. Bigger than I expected but I reckon worth no more than £4.99 each! They look like you expect to see them in Poundland, Poundstretcher, etc.
Tru had the Blackout/Scorponoc two pack in but at £39.99 each I thought that to be way overpriced.
Tru also had Robot Replicas in stock. What do others think of these? I think they're overpriced at £12.99 each but they look quite smart. I really like Barricade  but something doesn't look quite right about him, like he's out of proportion.
I also really like Fab Brawl. he looks really cool and strangely is quite a bit bigger than deluxe Brawl. Any thoughts on the Fab's?
Also on the bottom of Ultimate Bumblebee's box is a picture of leader class Brawl.
Pity they don't have a leader class Bonecrusher! 8)

I guess I'm one of the few who hasn't yet seen the movie. Hoping to see it this week sometime but I have to take the girlfriend into see the Simpsons movie first!

Incidentally the free Bumblebee lenticular poster from Argos is quite cool. It comes on a hard cardboard back obviously to protect it but is quite smart. My girlfriend reckons it is good enough for framing! 8)
And also Argos have a Roadbot for sale on page 1653 of their new catalogue (Catalogue No. 3870440).
You get the 1/18 Hummer and a free 1/32 Ford Gt. They both come in the same box and I thought were pretty well priced at £19.99 for the pair. I bought them and I'm pretty impressed by the quality. I now have four Roadbots and I'm well pleased with this line! 8)
