According to TF Wiki, originaly creators planning to kill Waspinator for real in "Aftermath" yet they change their minds after dicovery that Waspinator is really popular character. I just wonder how Beast Wars could changed if original concept was realised and Waspinator dies in Lava at the beggining of seazon 2?

I remember that later Terrosaur seems to give up he's ambitions and becomes quite loyal to Megatron, propably because creators wanna saved time and space for Tarantulas, witch become leater main Predacons "Starscream". So I think that this track would be continued. Yet with Waspinator show would be a little more serious, and Predacons battle tactics could be different, since Terrosaur had he's unique uses.

So... What is you opinion?

It probably would have been less funny since a lot of the show's humor was rooted in Waspinator getting hurt so much.

I'm not sure. Terrosaur had a hard times a lot either. I don't see reason, why he can't suffers in seazon 2-3 (but not as much, obviously)

I just imagine good ol waspy being transmetal being blown to bits

Creators planned to turn Terrosaur Transmetal after "Aftermath". So he could become quite competent warrior later.

Two thoughts on this.

1 - We would have never gotten Thrustinator.
2 - I wanted both to live. WHY, OH GOD WHY!?

Yeah but his weren't as funny, and often happened in conjunction with Waspinator's pain.

The reason Waspinator was given so much abuse is because his pain was hilarious, moreso than Terrorsaur's. Otherwise, if Terrorsaur getting hurt was just as funny, wouldn't the writers have made it a point to keep Terrorsaur along with Waspy so he too could continue to suffer, instead of killing him off with the equally less-funny Scorponok?
