Greetings All,

As some of you know, I am more a fan of TF media than the toys themselves. Of course, when an animated series is great, this can be highly enjoyable, but when it is lackluster, or even bad, it can be immensely frustrating.

Also, while some have enjoyed various installments in the last decade, I really haven't enjoyed much since Transformers Prime. There were *aspects* of the Netflix WFC show I thought were ok, but most fans really didn't care for it, and I understand why.

As a result, while the kid-centric lines of the last decade (RiD15, Cyberverse, and Earthspark) have had varying levels of success, the last two Collector-Centric series (Machinima's Prime Wars and Netflix War For Cybertron) were met with such criticism, that Netflix refused to pick up a proposed animated series for Legacy, thus it had no media.

An idea has come to me, however, for a media tie-in to The Age of the Primes. Of course, remember this is only a fun exercise. Unfortunately, if there were/are any plans for a media tie-in, it would have to be well under way now, to be released in time to tie-in with the toys, even if that is in 2026 (since we now know this is planned as a 2-year event).

I was thinking, since it’s never been seen in animated form, - an adaptation (with liberties of course) of the Return of Convoy/Battlestars story pages, but set it in the original Transformers Sunbow continuity (keeping the events of Headmasters-Zone as canon as well), and integrate the Age of the Primes as part of the story.

A *roughly* 90 minute animated film, with Toei animation in the spirit of TF:TM. In fact, I know this is probably one of the worst cinema sins, but while this would be a very different movie than TF:TM, it would feel familiar as well.

I would open the movie with a desperate battle taking place in the Universe of the Unicron Trilogy. Since the defeat of Galvatron in that universe, the Transformers have been mostly at peace exploring the galaxy and expanding their reach with their 4 exploratory ships: Atlantis Ogygia Hyperborea & Lemuria. However, a new menace: The Dark Nova is threatening to destroy all of reality. The battle in that universe is lost. Though it grieves him, Vector Prime is given orders by Optimus to use his sword and escape their universe; so that he may warn the next of what is coming.

Opening Narration: Victor Caroli:
It is the year 2031. The Autobots home planet of Cybertron is no more (flashback to its destruction in The Headmasters). However, Autobot heroes from across the Galaxy (Shows scenes of Rodimus Prime, Fortress Maximus, Victory Saber & Dai Atlas) are gathering sacred artifacts together in a coordinated effort to rebuild Cybertron.

It is from this point that more of the details would have to be fleshed out, but basically, the Autobots would not be aware at first that their efforts to rebuild Cybertron would have an unexpected (but necessary) benefit. Vector Prime would eventually join them and explain the only way to defeat Dark Nova (who has resurrected Galvatron into Super Megatron, and given the Decepticon forces enhanced powers), would be by bringing back the 13 Primes, among which would be -Optimus Prime.

Dai Atlas would already have the Zodiac, and Rodimus the Matrix, but there would be *McGuffin quests* to gather a few more items to allow Cybertron (and the Primes) to be reborn.
