I thought this was going to be the auction to get him.

Hadn't gone above my max price and then bam 2 min to the end sniped and he sold for $200+

So what do you guys think the max should be for this guy.

This one seems like its going to be a huge pain to get.

well i've seen him go for less.

I've settled on spending $150 for him but man that's starting to seem more unlikely as he's not showing up as often.

Its to the point I don't mind paying extra to get those attendee only figures, I'd just like to get some certainty that they can be gotten and I know where to send the money.

So far only Ratchet and Flare Up are must haves unless the 07 ones are really good.

I have a question so what do you guys think is a fair "finders fee" for going to the con and then selling the figure? I mean if you can get it for $80 there what would you feel comfortable reselling it? Granted yes its hard to turn down a higher offer and obviously you would.

I'm glad I picked up the smaller bots in that collection when I found them. Prices seem to drop when you're between Botcons, and jump up again as people get ready to go to the next one. I paid maybe $10 each for Fallback, Dirge, Ricochet and the other Insecticon.

I always get the smallest collectables cheap off season. Tap Out, Glyph, Rook, Legends Ramjet and Skywarp. The only big Botcon one I got recently was $20 for Megazarak in box, and an open Roulette/Shadow Striker for $10. Some people seem to care a lot about sealed boxes, but I don't mind them being open.

Good luck on the Ratchet. Maybe keep a active search for it on ebay?

The problem is I would need to do a job nealry equal to a factory paint application if I were to be satisfied.

Besides, isn't the head sculpt different?

I haven't seen Botcon Ratchets head in a while to notice any differences but you would be saving alot of money by painting it

head sculpt is different as well as the energon weapon and the clear plastic on the windows.

Will just keep searching, kinda hoping for an open one to cut down on cost since it will be a display piece.
