I got a battle damaged Titanium prime. Woo.
This doesn't surprise me in the least; we never get these things. Nevertheless, I got there when Best Buy opened at 10:00 A.M, and I grabbed the fifth or so box out of ten. No doubt in my mind they were all gone inside half an hour.
I also picked up the Future Shop Autobot steel case cover (a friend has bought me the Decepticon version) and the Wal-Mart pack with 'Beginnings'. However, the Wal-Mart pack does not include the Special Edition 2nd disc with bonus features.
So in essence, here's my 2 cents from the ones I've got if you're a Canadian:
The Best Buy exclusive version gives you the 2nd disc, a free Titanium figure and a booklet that isn't anything special. The booklet has stills from the movie, some quotes by bay and the actors, pics of the robots, but it's nothing you haven't seen or heard already.
The only benefit of the Wal-Mart pack is 'Beginnings', which is as stated elsewhere, a little animatic of IDW's prequel comic. This is nice for those who want to hear Peter Cullen say about two or three more lines as Prime, and hear Frank Welker as Megatron for a bit. Bumblebee narrates some of it. Sam and Agent Simmons sound nothing like their respective actors. Starscream's voice here is quasi-G1-esque - I like it!
Future Shop has 2 steel case editions, one with the Autobot logo (Protect written on bottom), and the other with the Decep logo (Destroy). This is the same package as the 2-disc special edition. Only thing different is the case.
In the end, I think you're better off choosing between the Wal-Mart and Future Shop editions, depending on whether you like "Making-of'" featurettes, etc, or a nice little semi-cartoon of about 20 minutes' length. The Best Buy gift set is a waste of time for us Canucks.
