Maybe its was because God liked me, but yesterday I won on aBay 08 Bumblebee and Final battle Jazz for $30. Was it a good deal, or was I ripped off? I know their MSRP is $10 each, but when was the last time you saw these guys anywhere but eBay?

well nice enough considering you'll spend more than 10$ travelling on toy stores did you mean 2 figs in the price of 30$ ???

For the time being it was a good deal, but eventually when FB Jazz and '08 Bumblebee come out in massive waves during the holidays, getting it for $10 more than retail isn't such a good deal.

well for me it's good enough as i mentioned spending could go more than just the extra ten bucks just finding 08 bb alobne im happy for ya!

Does that $30 include shipping?

like softimus_prime said, when you consider gas that is not to bad. how much did the guy want for shipping, thats were they get you. a couple years from now you won't even remember how much you paid.

No, it was $9 for priority mail shipping.

So you paid 39 total for 2 deluxes? Meh, I bought 2 08 BB's for 17.00 at kohls today... but I guess if you dont have a kohl's near you its not bad

Nope I called every single store that possibly carried TF toys. I even checked Albertsons, ALBERTSONS, for **** sake!

i'll still say it's fine better than those freaking deals on ebay selling a 50$ bb 08 you wont even realize you paid that amount....

Yeah, thats what people said three weeks ago, about the "big re-stock" and look mwhat happened...

I found both of these guys at Walmart yesterday for the right price. So, they are out there if you're willing to wait a little.

As long as you're happy that's all that really should matter but I wouldn't have paid $20 a piece for them.

I think that's a fair price. Considering the time and gas money I've spent trying to chase down BB, $40 for two figures delivered is cheap.

Yes. You got an excellent deal, especially considering you got both figures for $39.00

Break that down for a moment:

$18.50 per figure (when you factor in shipping)

And Kohl's charges $12.99 per figure (with taxes (dependent on each state) included) that could easily be $14+ so you're spending $4.00 extra per figure...you'll spend that in gas money on a fruitless search.

You got a hell of a deal, don't listen to the naysayers, and enjoy the figures!

I didnt just call I went to every store, and always asked two different employees, still nothing, Im glad I got these babies at ebay, now all thats left for me is Movie Leader Brawl and Ill be done!

i say it is a good deal for right now. it saves the frustration of searching and not finding them, plus the wasted gas money. But these really will be out in full force the next few weeks.

lol yeah so true, I cant believe Hasbro actually underestimated demand for these toys. Guess they had low expectations about the movie's success, didn't they?

Also, consider how much time you saved, and how that time translates into costs, not necessarily money, but opportunities for doing other things... like surfing seibertron.com.

In all seriousness, time's valuable, and not many people take that into account when they hunt for toys.
