Just two add my two pence, I thought the DW art was terrible. Consistently terrible. The writing, though, was a lot worse. Granted, I have never read (or even seen) the ongoing, but volumes 1 and 2 ("War and Peace") were some of the worst comics I have ever read.

I look forward to picking up this new issue, though.

EDIT: Shoot, I forgot about "The War Within" volume 1. That was really good. Well-written and superbly illustrated.

I get 'em whenever they turn up in the post -- other than Transformers I don't usually buy singles and stick to trades, and I'm roughly equidistant from two comics stores... mail order's easier.

when is the next issue due out!?!?!?!?! the first one is awesome i just wish all the cons didnt have shockwave heads..... the big red con kinda looked like his alt was a cadailac (sp) suv....... :-?

for what it is worth i have felt that tf comics have consitantly gotten better and better (aside from Spotlight Nightbeat-though i am sure it will become important) i am yet to be bored or disappointed by a single issue!

p.s. i recon the emmisary and dead universe looks like Worlds Colide all over again!
