He gets a razor blade CD of death through the head, but he freaking gets decapitated earlier in the movie and survived.

I'm pretty sure he did.
He's such a thin TF that I have a feeling that most of his important components are in his head where there is more mass.

When he gets his head sliced off none of that is destroyed, but the second time his head was sliced in half, probably severing his spark chamber or some other vital piece.

I don't want to sound totally mean, but I kind of hope he doesn't come back for the second movie. He had way more than enough screen time in the first movie, IMO. I guess Wheelie might be the annoying one for the second movie-is that right?

I understand where you're coming from.
But he might not. I didn't see him on the list of appearing characters on Wikipedia. But I guess that doesn't mean much.

It's pretty hard to tell right now. There is a ton of "maybe correct" information going around. If he is in the new movie, I have to hope his on-screen time is limited. We will see I guess!

There's really no difference if he did or not. He'll probably be killed off in the first five minutes. I believe there was a clip like a few months back showing him like breaking or sawing a windshield. It's really just up in the air.

You know what I didn't get speaking of frenzy? He lands on the all spark, and rebuilds his whole body from it. So when Bumblebee lost his legs why didn't he do the same thing? Just repair himself real quick!

He didn't know he could???

He hadn't seen Frenzy do it so how would he have known?
Frenzy did it by accident, maybe it Bee had opened the rubix-cube-of-doom instead of give it to Sam and tell him to run he could have got his legs back.

I believe the Reign of Starscream comics says Starscream takes Frenzy's DEAD body and downloads the information from it on the AllSpark.

I do not believe Frenzy gets revived in it.

That doesn't mean we won't see him in RotF though... cause the writers can do whatever they want, I guess.

I've heard rumors that we'll see lots of drone Frenzy-like robots in RotF, but who knows. That's why they're rumors.

On the BumbleBee legs question... I totally agree, why couldn't they just come back? Maybe in the heat of battle, it wasn't thought of??? Or maybe BumbleBee didn't have a way of communicating it through his radio? :o)

Or maybe since BumbleBee is SO much bigger than Frenzy, it wouldn't have worked so quickly and they were more concerned with getting the AllSpark in a safe place that they didn't feel they had the time?

A valid question though.

Unless it was regenerating his legs and it just took a while. Dunno how long it was in between the final battle and the last scenes of the movie when all the autobots but prime are just chillin' in their alt modes on a hill watching the sunset... while Sam and Mikela made out...

Still kinda creeps me out to this day.

I wonder if they'll address the 'injury' to BB or just ignore it like everything else. Maybe he's got part of Jazz in his legs?

I just read TRANSFORMERS R.O.T.F. (Roll On The Floor)
prequal comic: Alliance#3 (just released) Agent simmons is fired by the Secretary of Defence then he smuggles 1/2 of frenzy's head in his jacket b4 he leaves from Dam. also i seen a pic of the movie where a frenzy puppet was being used on the back of a car. So he's gotta be back.

OTHER Comic details:

* Captains Lennox (Josh Duhamel) & Epps (Tyrees Gibson) are promoted to Major

*JAZZ is burried in the ocean in (GET THIS) Optimus G1's trailer. Is this a clue to something more to come or just an artist rendering of what happened??? Also Megatron is burried right after him along with the tank (which could explain his new tank mode) & black out. So im thinking if ol'megs comes back, who's to say Jazz dosent either with a formatted truck trailer for Optimus.(just a thought)

As far as I'm certain, Frenzy is dead.

The Frenzy-like robot we've been seeing in clips... I believe that's supposed to be the rumored Pretender in ROTF. In case anybody hasn't heard the rumor, the Alice character is allegedly a Pretender and supposedly will resemble Frenzy in bot mode.

i think frenzy did dye because all that was left of his head after the disk went through his head was an eye stock but his spark was not destroyed because that was in his chest he just got knocked off line for a while.

If his spark was in his body then why would he still be functioning after Mikaela chopped off his head from his body earlier in the movie? I'm going with the Spark being in his head... somehow.

I agree that the Frenzy-like thing we saw in that leaked clip is not Frenzy but something else... perhaps the Pretender. Who knows. But I'm saying 99% sure it's not Frenzy.

I also would bet my house that Jazz will NOT come back as Prime's trailer. Not happening. I don't even think we'll see Jazz back in RotF. How Megatron gets revived... we'll find out on June 24

I could go along with the idea that some parts of Blackout and Brawl get "fused"/attached onto Megatron's new body somehow.

When Frenzy begins moving again, he kind of spits out a small collection of parts that drag him along and pick up the phone he reformats into. I figure his spark chamber was in there.

The idea behind Pretenders was so ridiculous. (Except in IDW, they made it awesome) It's a transformer, complete with vehicle mode, that can fit inside a believable human body. Since Frenzy is so small (Shorter than Sam) it'd make more sense for a TF of his height to be a Pretender. (Considering he already looks like a Terminator from the neck down)

If people were mad about flames on Prime, how do you think they'd react if Jazz became Prime's trailer? It'd be World War III.

Prime doesn't have a trailer in this continuity. So I'm not sure how Jazz could have been buried in something that doesn't exist.

He's referring to the one comic that came out not too long ago. Prime WAS carrying a trailer in the one scene -- I saw a 4 page preview of it on the net.

Doesn't guarantee we'll see it in the movie though...

Okay, one more time for good measure: we see Frenzy's body get regenerated the first time he comes in close contact with the Allspark. That is probably also when Bumblebee's voice-box is partially restored--when B touches it. The Allspark seems to be able to heal but only if you're in close proximity to it.

At the end of the movie, neither Frenzy nor BB are in close proximity to the Allspark, because it got destroyed. Hence, Frenzy's probably still dead, and Bumb's legs don't regenerate.

Sam and Mikaela making out on Bumblebee kinda creeps *me* out. I mean, what a way to use your wingman!

The only Logic i can think of is that the Allspark was full size when it fixed Frenzy but 'reduced' when BB was hurt. Of course it doesnt explain why it could still activate the random machines (ie Vendingbot)

Id basically put it down to Plot holes, of which there are many (Barricade etc). Seems the writers dont like to proof read.

As for Frenzy's return, i doubt it. Just cos theres a 'Frenzy like' puppet being used it doesnt mean its him. Could just as well be Ravage or as said the Pretender. Has there been a name for the Pretender yet other than Alice? Doesnt sound much like a decepticon name. You never know that might be Frenzy's ticket back but there have been plenty of Mini-bots over the years.

Frenzy is dead.

In Reign of Starscream Starscream goes back to the dam and retrieves Frenzy dead body to get the specs on building a new Allspark from his databanks. When he gives Frenzy's body to Thundercracker on Mars they show Starscream ejecting Frenzy's body out of his chest not his half-a-head.

When Starscream gets to Cybertron he gives Frenzy's body to Dreadwing to put Frenzy's memory banks in the archives. Dreadwing says that he will transfer the data and give it to Starscream personally.

Throughout all of ROS they show Frenzy's body as holding the data and never show that half of head that Simmons winds up getting. But, when Starscream gets slashed across the chest by Wreckage in ROTF: Alliance he laments losing that Frenzy half-a-head as being the key to the Allspark.

There is a disconnect there.

Prime does not have a trailer per se. In ROTF: Alliance after the Rangers and the Autobots finish the clean up of the Allspark mutations from the end of the movie the Rangers find something to transport Jazz's body which happens to look like Prime's G-1 trailer.

There are several G-1 nods in ROTF: Alliance. Ironhide blows a mutation that has his G-1 alt mode. Prime's holographic driver is Peter Cullen.
