I like that paint job grey.. just I don't understand why ya didn't just let it become a white stripe? I mean, the part that is white on the side that goes up between the windows, I think I would've painted that little part red and then you'd have a nifty horizontal white stripe...

I don't remember why I decided to leave that part white. I'm sure I had a reason, I just don't remember what it was.

If I may hazard a guess, it was probably because that is a high-wear area since it is a hinge, and the red paint would chip off too easily.

I love it.

This may sound dumb, but what's the point? It's Energon Prime. If you were super articulating him that'd be cool, but he cant even combine any more.

The point is to make my e-Prime look not-gimpy.

I never planned to combine him with his boots and mittens(I hate "Super Mode"), and his regular mode just looks like 5 kinds of crappy to me.

However, it doesn't feel "right" to have most of the previous incarnations and completely leave Energon out, so, much like my custom deluxe Energon Prime, I've set out to make this one look worthy to stand with his brethren.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that hates "Prime in boots" mode! It looks like the powered up robot from superhuman samaurai cybersquad (You don't know how much it pains me to remember that let alone type it out! shudder)

LOL!! I remember the commercials, I think (after looking the show up on Google to refresh my memory).. and Wikipedia reminded me of "Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters," which I think I actually watched. :oops:

But, yeah.. their combined form -does- look a lot like Fatimus. Especially "Servo's" face. (looks almost identical to the Prime-With-Mouth face)

Back on topic, though.. it occurred to me a little while ago that his head only rotates(no up/down action), so now I'm thinking of ways to fix that.

y'know.. part of me hopes this doesn't turn into something like my Super Starscream project, where I keep finding new mods to do.. but that project has been a lot of fun, particularly figuring out HOW to do each mod.

I've solved the "feets-with-fists" problem!

Behold! I've cut the fist off one of the feet, and am currently grafting half of a Bionicle foot in its place.

And here's a shot with the other Bionicle foot, to show how it looked before I cut it in half.

I'll need to put in some putty and trim the sides of the Bionicle foot down, so it'll fit into Prime's leg where the fist used to fold in for bot mode.

I assume you're refering to Zenon which does kinda look like Prime. Unless you mean Synchro, who is formed when the vehicles that form Zenon combine with Servo. I can see Prime's combined mode looking something like that. Also, it's Super Human Samurai Syber Squad, no letter "C". I'm sure the writers spelled it that way just to keep the abbreviation "SHSSS" neat. The show may have sucked (I watched every episode) but the toys were awesome. My brother and I were just playing with them the other day 'cause I was sifting through some Megazords and SHSSS stuff I had in a drawer.

Yeah, I watches most of them with my younger brother and still have a bunch of the toys but it was long enough ago that most of the names escaped me and besides I was hung up on the pink power ranger when power rangers was on right after SHSSS so I was waiting mostly while it was on

One leg done!

I cut the wheel panel out of e-Prime's leg cover and cut off one of a-Prime's wheel posts, then grafted the panel onto the front half of the leg with epoxy putty and glue.

Still wondering if I should fill in the trailer bed extensions (gold Bionicle pieces) with putty and sand 'em down closer to what Bendy Prime's look like, but other than that, the leg is complete.
