See? People still making comments about the low mouth. I have growing confidence this spot won't air because of this consistent misinterpretation. It's just a bad shot to use as the first look of Optimus Prime.

He's got a chin, it's just out of frame. It looks bad, so they shouldn't use that shot, and I'm assuming they won't.

Actually I watched it full screen with the lighting up and the chin shows up much better, looks fine when you can see the chin. It will look SOO much better at a higher resolution.

Yeah...can we just go to sleep and wake up on the night of July 3rd? I hope there's a midnight show here in P-Town...

Tis a pity they took it down. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I can't wait to see the movie now. I've been skeptikal since the beginning like most of you but now I can say I'm excited, REALLY EXCITED!

Not bad. Primes lips don't really bother me. They could be better, but they're not terrible. A shame that's not Cullen's voice.

Every time I wonder how many scenes Prime will have without the faceplate, I just think of how many non comabat scenes we have in a regular episode of Transformers or Beast Wars.

That gives me some idea (althought probably not accurate).

i think billing block refers to the part of the trailer where they normaly show "coming soon" or "starts tomorrow" or the release date...this trailer seems to be unfinished so thats my guess

Correct. It is also where they show any credit they're promoting with, along with the film rating.

It might be due to the audio quality of the wmv file I downloaded but it sounds to me like they're making it sound more robotic. I'm positive that's Cullen's voice as Prime, though.

If Hasbro allowed them to use the mouth on Prime, and if the movie makers thought it was such a good idea, then how come not a single piece of Transformers Movie merchandise seen so far has Prime without his faceplate?

I thought the flames were bad, but the mouth is worse

If he's as good a character a Primal, I'm sold.

I don't understand the point of making these guys super robot looking then giving them an organic like mouth?

This trailer is really compressed and that may affect the sound quality, but that sounds quite different from the OP I know.

The mouth I can get used to, but I still prefer the faceplate.

HOLY BALLS! That was awesome! Even though his voice is different than G1, it still sounds strong and the way a leader should sound. The lips didn't bother me much at all, and the thing with Barricade at the very end...WHOO! Plus, John Voight is going to be so awesome. I'm super-amped.
