Nightwatch Prime Question

Postby starfish » Tue Nov 06, 2007 10:20 am

Hi guys,

I remember reading somewhere that there were some slight colour differences between the UK and US versions of Nightwatch Prime.

Apologies if this has come up before, but could people please post links to pictures or previous discussions so I can find out exactly what these differences are.

I already have the UK version, so US pics would be great, thanks.

NB: As a UK-based collector, I can't log onto the Hasbro US site - any attempt redirects me to Hasbro UK. So links to Hasbro won't work for me!

Many thanks in advance!

I hadn't heard of any differences but you should still be able to get onto the US site. If you go to the UK site then click "Worlwide" (top left, below the TF logo) it'll give you a dropdown menu. Select US and you'll go to the US site (you'll know it's the US site as the homepage has more images and the News box actually has news in it).

This may sound dumb, but I don't think he is even out at retail yet.

Isn't he due for the 2008 Allspark Line?

This Teletraan (TF wiki) entry shows both versions and explains their differences. Just scroll down to 'toys'.

Well, it would seam the UK actually gets things before we do, for a change  ;)^

Sorry, for the goof up. Did not know that little fact.

Anyway, judging by the pics there, I think the UK version has the better color scheme.

I know this has been asked a long while back but I've forgotten the answer.

Just what is it that hte Allspark line does? Anything special? Anyone have a link to how the packaging looks like?

Mainly repaints in the line. Same packaging but it has Allspark Power on it. Typical 'Power Up' storyline is being used to promote the line. Impact of touching the cube or something along those lines.
BWOP: "Die-cast construction...It's a lost art!"

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

The Allspark line has toys (new and repaints) that have a horrid shade of Bright Blue paint on them to represent them being "powered by the Allspark".

It's technically a gimmick.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.
