The most complimentary thing I can say is "I hate you".

Heh, thanks. And I want your MP TWW Megatron.

So here's the head. What do you guys think of the size? Seems a tad too big?

Did you wrap the wood rod in styrene?
Yes, I did. The rod wasn't quite big enough so I wrap styrene around it to make it wider.

Dunno if you can take it apart and cut pieces down or not. :/
Once you glue the styrene together with cement glue (which fuses the styrene together) its hard to take apart. But it's not too hard to build from scratch so I'm just going to make another one.

I take mine apart when building all, the time. There are a few ways to do so. One is to reapply some of the plastic welder to the seam and then use a knife to split it. Or, you can just cut the seam and forego the solvent all together. For pieces with a lot of surface area glued together though, applying more solvent is a necessity.

It is smaller, but I like it that way better. Often times, in the comics certain body parts are drawn out of proportion (e.g. oversized chest) to emphasize something (e.g. to make said character more brute like) and this seems to be the quite the case in TWW. I kinda went with it with Grimlock (bigger chest, smaller head) since I don't mind seeing Grimlock more brute like. But not as much with Shockwave though.

Other then that... Looks amazing!
Yes, I know, which is why I put "concept art style" on the thread title to differentiate it from the style they used in the comics (which is the space gun). I like this design alot though so chose to scratchbuild it.

Looks great. My only real beef would be the hand gun. If you look again at the concept art it's actually double barreled. (That is if your trying to make it as accurate to the concept art as possible)
Othere then that this bad boy does make me salivate. Maybe find some energon weapons you can cut up to make the other barrel and still have it clear.

May not be clear in the pic I provided but I positioned the gun on the upper portion of the arm (instead of middle) for precisely that purpose...to add the 2nd smaller barrel (or cartridge or whatever that thing is) later. I was just going to make it out of styrene so it won't have the translucent effect but I figured it was a cartridge or battery of some sort for the gun so it won't be needing to light up.
