Wow, this looks much better than the US releases. Instead of going half-heartedly down the road of cartoon accuracy, these Japanese releases make the gimmicks fun, not stupid. It feels like Armada, not like a crappy remake of the First Edition figures.

'Tis a pity imports cost so much.

What recent decision of Hasbro can't the above picture apply to?

I didn't think I'd ever say this, but the Hasbro versions look WAY better than the Takara versions. Sure, the minicons are cool, but for some reason Takara felt the need to give the figures big ass pimple looking holes to put them in. Looks horrible...

The only thing in that display that looks cool is that huge Optimus Prime statue.

Does anyone know if Ratchet actually has decals on certain parts or is this just rumor AND are these prototypes on display or real deal final productions? I'm really digging Ratchet but his huge holes are of a different color so I'm wondering what we're to expect. :-? :VEHI:

I agree. The stickers on these look terrible, and all the weapon ports they've added look bad as well. I wish I could just buy the weapons separately and give them to the Hasbro versions.

Agreed. The only thing that looks cool in that display is that awesome looking huge Optimus Prime statue. I'm sure some fans would love to buy that xP. But the figures? Sucks. They sucks when Hasbro releases them and suck even MORE on Takara release. Seriously those guns look weird. The only cool one is Ratchet's dagger. I never really like Minicons anyway. It's just weird...The thought of a TF holding another TF for a weapon...That's as weird as a human carrying another human like a baseball bat >.>....

Oh and BTW is it just me or is Takara getting dumber? Did they literally release Deluxe Megs TWICE with the only difference is that stupid looking Minicon-cannon? Wow these is one of those moments where Hasbro is much better than Takara >.>....

wish hasbro would sell the mircon figures in either blindbag packs of in 3 packs, or both. anyway we can get them locally works for me. Takara's versions of the figures themselves look ok, but those portsd are an eyesore, especially when Hasbro's versions have port that dont look as bad.

Hell, I think I'd do that if I could find someone small enough.

Quite certain I'll be sticking with Hasbro on this series of figures. Shame it's mainly because Takara cocked-up. Only one blade for Ratchet is a let-down. What possessed Takara to come up with these new Micron figures when it seems to suggest the main figures suffer to make up for the expense?

I get a new platoon of Microns but the Bulk figures have craters in them... don't know if it's a good tradeoff.
